Q: Trying to disconnect from a mystery device it claims to be connected to and actually connect to my device?

I'm not sure if I do understand your question, however here are 2 options: 1) If you want to disconnect the mystery device, go to your device blue tooth>my devices>click on the "i" next to the mystery device and press the "Forget This Device" and that should delete the mystery device. 2) If you want to connect the speaker to your device, first turn the speaker on, then go to your device blue tooth> within second the new device will appear under other devices (at the bottom), then click on it so that you can be connected.
