So, for the SAUERKROCK "City" with a 2L capacity you could fit 2 medium-sized heads of cabbage and for the SAUERKROCK "Original" with a 5L capacity you could fit 5 medium-sized heads of cabbage. When raw, 1 medium-sized head of cabbage shredded is just under one liter in volume.
