The Elf on the Shelf series is wonderful
We bought this as a fun Christmas tradition. It's great - it's lots of fun to move the elf around to different parts of the house and surprise our son. He thinks it's real and loves to interact with it.

So much fun!
I wasn’t sure if this would be well received by my kids, but decided to go gor it after a lot of raves from my co-workers. They were right.....elf on the shelf is awesome and very interactive. My kids love the dvd as well....good story and music. This addition spiced up our family holiday celebrations and made my kids eager to get out of bed in December so they could look around for their elf and see if it brought them anything.

Perfect starter package
What is there to really say. It’s the elf on the shelf. It’s our first for our first born so it is a special one. Loved the book and the dvd perfect starter package!
