Great book with a ton of good info about the care and husbandry of a Ball Python. The author cares about his subject and its written in a way that is easy to understand.

Great read for someone that’s interested getting your first ball python. In depth about housing, bedding, heating, and overall health. The basics about the breeding aspect to get a understanding of it. If you are looking for a lot of info about the morphs and genetics not your book. First time keeper this book is great.

Some chapters seem disorganized or have spelling errors, others seem like they could have gone into more depth, such as the part on proper humidity level and humidity maintenance. As a layman, this gap in snake care knowledge makes me nervous and I will have to seek this info from other sources I suppose. Otherwise very informative, very entertaining book I was happy to read in one sitting.

This book touches on what seems to be the very basics of information, but it hits what seems to be all the important topics.

Packed full of information and nice to have laying around when I need to look up stuff.

I found this to be a good read. Informative and pretty accurate as compared to other books that I have read on keeping " balls " as pets. A good investment for anyone who plans on purchasing and maintaining a healthy ball python.

This is an abbreviated version of The Complete Ball Python by the same author.The main thing it lacks is the photographs of all of the morphs which are produced annually..It covers all of the husbandry issues like the big book so if that is all you need save some money and buy this book.It also covers breeding as well.

It is an ok introduction to Ball Pythons. It is too dated for a dedicated resource. Can't go wrong with the price.

I bought this for my twin boys to introduce them to royal pythons and for them the book is brilliant and they have both read it cover to cover, it even started a fight as one started reading before the other one finished it, they have even asked when we can start breeding them. For me it was a little basic and I found Designer Morphs by John R Berry a better read for more advanced hobbyists.

I found this book to be informative and easy to read, giving lots of good "newbie" advice on set up and examples of good and bad items, lots of good pictures to enhance the understanding of the text! A must read for beginners!!!!!

This book is great for anyone having an interest in Ball Pythons, there are plenty more books out there that go into far more detail (at a much higher price) but for the beginer this book is more than adequate.It is a good read and covers all you need to know about the care of Ball Pythons.

A great read for a novice ball python keeper. More appropriate than some of the more technical books I've purchased.
