ProStock Speed Wheels with Coned Hub for Pinewood Derby

Rough edges
They arrived days late so we didn’t get to use them but I noticed that they are not all from the same mold, as the description states, and there is jagged plastic all around the areas where they drilled and polished. I can’t imagine these would work well. I tried scraping it off with my fingernail which did work to a certain extent but in areas where you want reduced friction a rough edge doesn’t seem ideal. I was going to keep them for next year but I don’t think it’s worth it.

Single use only
I loved them. They really made a noticeable difference.I pulled an older set off one for a sibling's car this year. Unfortunately those hubs have been dished out so deeply that there's only a tiny bit of structure keeping them in place. Even though I used a tool to pull it, that wheel looked like I'd stepped on a hot wheels car after inserted. I'd advise installing them well ahead of race time and then lock up that car. I'd give them a 5 if it weren't for that

Winner winner chicken.. well you know the rest.
We won—one happy Webelo. It wasn’t close. Now on to districts. This wasn’t the only enhancement we employed, but it clearly helped. In the past we did all the meticulous friction-reduction work ourselves. Much less stressful this year with the help of Derby Dust. Thanks guys.

Very disappointed, wheels right out of the box had better balance.
Could not see where they changed the wheels at all. Many of the wheels right out of the pinewood derby car box are better. Did not use the wheels on my car. Maybe I got 4 of the "rejects" by mistake from when they sort through the BSA wheels.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY
Terrible quality. 2 wheels were completely out of round. Basically eggs.
