Q: Will the Arlo Pro system being compatible with the previous generation Arlo cameras?

If I buy an Arlo Pro Camera for my non-pro system that I bought 2 months ago, will I get a wider range of view, better night vision, or longer distance? I would like a better camera. Why should I spend the extra money for the Pro?

Q: Can the siren be disabled if one doesn't wish to use it

VMS4130 You have the option of adding or not adding the siren when you set up your detection modes. Q: Does the arlo support saving to a nas?

VMS4130 The Arlo Pro currently only supports backing up cloud recordings to a USB storage device.

Q: can someone steal the camera off the mount?

They can yes. If you use the included mount, meant for indoor use, it is a simple matter of just grabbing it as it is a magnetic mount. You can buy an outdoor mount for roughly $20 which screws to your wall and attaches to the camera with a threaded post. They could still steal it by unscrewing it, but that process goes from being a 3 second process with the indoor mount to a 2 minute process with the outdoor mount. Ideally they would also need a ladder. There is also the fact that they will be on camera doing it.
