okay I loved the ease of use and hookup was a breeze. My husband is hard of hearing but the Dr. said a hearing aid wouldn't help, so to keep my hearing I bought this Pyle speaker first time in 2023 in Jan for his Feb. birthday, come June 2023 it would no longer hold a charge. I figured we got hold of a bad one and decided to try again so Oct 2023 we had anniversary coming up so I bought him the 2nd one and it had been working fine only used on the weekend , up until this one night when we tried to use it, the battery fully charged but when we turned it on the green light came on but no sound turning volume all the way up still no sound. So we checked all cables plugs did all the trouble shotting that we could do and still nothing , so the next day my husband contacted Pyle Company and within a few days we heard from them and after going back and forward the company said they were sending a new speaker at no charge . We were thing it would take weeks or months to get it so, I started looking at other speakers and trying to find one that would last longer than a few months but then less than a week there was a brand new speaker delivered at the door. We let them know that we got it and in no time it was hooked up and we are watching TV together a gain. Don't know how long it will last but I got the company's contact information and if need be will well get in touch but as of now we highly recommend this company but most of all this Speaker. I would buy from them again and I don't think you can go wrong with this speaker. Thank You Pyle company.

A great product to keep peace with spouse and neighbors- I am a little hard of hearing. Television has become a little hard to hear- Always have sound set to 60 or above- Wife yells neighbors can hear the television.This item now sits on the table next to my chair - it is wireless and works great- Sound on TV now completely turned off-wife loves it and neighbors have started talking to me again- I am on my second one- first one lasted 8years

Got this for my father for a Christmas Present. He is hard of hearing and always has the living room TV blasting! With this, you plug the charging base/transmitter into the TV's sound output and he can put the rechargable speaker right beside him on the couch. Now he can turn the TV volume all the way down and listen using his own private speaker with its separate volume control! Now we all can actually communicate in the living room without having to shout over the TV. The speaker includes a standard headphone jack output so he can plug in his earbuds for late night use as well. I bought an extra AC adapter as well so he can keep it plugged in by the couch instead of charging it in its base all the time.All in all, the whole family agrees this was a wise investment.

I do quite a few projects in the garage or back yard. I love to listen to 60's music which I have on the TV and in my car with sirius radio. I've had this portable speaker for about 2 months and it works great. It's very lightweight so I can just locate it close to where I'm working and listen to the music the whole time.Revised:This speaker stopped working after 9 months. The warranty was for one year. When I contacted the company the gave me the run-around on the phone several times. I called Amazon and they did get the company to send me an email. The people handling the email were courteous and actually seemed to want to help but the company wanted to charge me for the return shipping of $15. I didn't break the speaker it just stopped working so I didn't think I should be out any money for their defect. And by the time they started sending me emails I had bought a speaker from another company. This little is speaker is a really good speaker as long as it works. If not, good luck.

I received my Pyle wireless speaker and was so glad to get it. I charged it for the amount of time required and hooked it up with no trouble at all. It works perfectly. I'm hard of hearing but have no trouble hearing this speaker I'm certainly glad I found this speaker at Amazon.

Work great, no problem

If there is music in the background and dialogue/sound effects simultaneously, you get dialogue loudest. Sharper Image is the opposite. (The Rookie) TV show does this frequently; prefer dialogue over rap. Better price than them and even though it is a chargable device via a docking system, theirs lasted about 9 months. Mine is already 15 months old. (Have already ordered a backup device.) I use it every night and I never disturb my husband in his room. 9/23 Bought 1 for computer used as outside jukebox/Spotify. Great portability and swappable to inside TV. w/r/t comment "too expensive per year", well divide the amount of this device by 365 and see what your daily cost is. Is that too much; not really in my opinion.

Worked great--until it didn't. My father in-law is severely hearing impaired and relied on this device to hear his television. He contacted the company this week and they said they denied they made the item. (?) Anyway, less than 2 years--buyer beware.
