Not to be recommended for use in the UK
The phone itself works well enough , nice camera , good storage BUT lots of apps are restricted within the Play Store , for example he BBC weather App does not show up , nor the NextDoor app , you get the message "not available in this region " and yes the phone is set to UK. Seems to be an issue with REDMI. I would not buy another REDMI device. This particular phone also had a Vodafone spash screen athough it was unlocked
