Brentwood Coffee Maker, 4-Cup, Black

This tiny coffee maker last almost 4 years until it just started to leak heavily - a very reasonable time for what you pay for a bottom tier product. You shouldn't be buying this expecting it to last 10+ years - or even more than 5. It is what it is at a value conscience price.

I've been using this coffee maker exclusively for the past 5 years. It's very easy to use and clean. I love that it comes with a reusable filter. When cleaning the filter, go easy on it with a soft rag or paper towel instead of anything abrasive like a Dobie or steel wool sponge.I'm the only one in my household who drinks coffee, so it's nice to save some money by buying a coffee maker that only makes enough coffee for one or two people. I haven't measured how much coffee it can make, but I'd estimate that they consider one cup to be 4 ounces. It comes with a coffee scoop, and has a water line for 2, 3 and 4 cups, but most people use a coffee mug that's larger than 4 ounces. I use a 8 ounce mug, and this coffee maker makes me 1, 1.5 or 2 cups with room for cream and sugar.I've used it nearly every day for the past 5 years, and it still works exactly like it did when I first bought it. When I bought it, the regular price was about $30-35, and I bought it on sale for $20. I noticed that the regular price is now $54.18, which is incredibly absurd, but it's currently on sale for $17.99, which is a very reasonable price. I love this coffee maker, but I wouldn't pay more than $25-$30 for it.

This is truly made for small spaces. I thought it was larger. But it works just fine. It makes your coffee nice and hot & the aroma of your coffee comes through, The manufacture forgot to state it has a no-drip mechanism. Along with everything you need. There is no need to go out and buy any extras. It works right out of the box. Just wash and start. You can remove the small carafe to taste the coffee without it dripping all over the place. My coffee is hotter with this small coffee maker than with my 1 cup Keurig coffee maker. In conclusion who needs a large Name Brand coffee maker taking up valuable counter space when you are the only one who drinks coffee at home. By the way, If you have any visitors you can make just enough 1 cup which will be fresh anyway. This is what I'm keeping on my counter. Keurig You are going back in the box.

This is a very nice coffee maker.I did not get that plastic smell that people are commenting about.The reusable filter works just fine - no coffee grounds in my coffee.And for me, the best thing is that this pot does NOT have automatic shutoff. I drink coffee and herbal teas all day, and I like that my drinks stay hot.All in all, this is a wonderful pot!

This coffee maker has been very good for me, it prepares my coffee at a very fast speed, it extracts the concentrated flavor and aroma, the size is ideal to always have hot coffee while I work in my office, and the price is surprising, Simple to use, it has a permanent filter that is easy to wash, like the jug, very easy to wash, and has a base that preserves heat it is a product of very good quality.

If you want a warm cup of coffee instead of hot, this is what you should buy. I like hot coffee.

Just the perfect size for one person; isn't expensive; win-win.

The Brentwood four cup is the worst coffee maker I have ever owned. You MUST use the conical paper filters since the mesh filter that comes with the machine is a total disaster. You'll have grounds in your coffee. The smell of plastic, heated, or perhaps it's the motor, lingers for days, maybe weeks, or maybe it will never go away. If you take the pot off the heater before the entire coffee making process is completed you will have coffee dripping all over the warming unit. I think I could do a better job just putting on the stove a pot of water with some coffee grounds in it. The price is cheap -- and so is the product.

Fait du café, filtre facile à nettoyer, je m'attendais à ce que ça brise après quelques utilisations mais la carafe a craqué en premier.Résultat, fini dans la poubelle!Je ne conseille PAS. Ajouter 10-20$ pour avoir une meilleure qualité.

Very happy with this coffee maker. Easy to use, easy to clean and it brews quickly.
