Very Accurate and Easy To Use
Scale is easy to use and seems extremely accurate.Item arrived almost fully assembled; all you need to do is mount the display to the top of the arm. Screws for this are screwed into the bottom of the display. Medium Phillips driver required. Also included loose in the box are 4 large set screws with black knobs; was unable to figure out where to use those, as no assembly instructions are included. There is a sheet of usage instructions. Simply remove the scale from the packing (platform is loose, not attached) and unfold the arm for the display. It locks in place. Feed extra cable through the arm, then screw display in place. To fold for storage, pull out on the springloaded pin on right side of hinge.Scale comes with a partial battery charge so you can try it out. Weighed a gallon of distilled water to check; result was 8.55 lbs. Since a gallon of water weighs 8.34 lbs, I figured it was about right with weight of jug and lid factored in (didn't have an empty to weigh for tare).Purchased for weighing pets. My 60 pound dog just fits the platform if he stands diagonally. May find something to extend the platform, then adjust the tare.

I was surprised by the size but have found that in my online business this scale is invaluable to determine accurate postage. Easy to assemble. Lots of features I haven’t used yet. Very happy with this purchase.
