It works great. Very sturdy but light weight aso I can move it with no problem.

I love the board. However, the edge ( the glue) is a little broken. 😞

If you're like me, you don't have very many large area flat surfaces in your place conducive to assembling a jigsaw puzzle let alone a place where said puzzle can be left out as it is in progress. I was thrilled to spot this lightweight, portable table that even includes four sorting drawers. I love that there is a comfortable handle so it can be transported and stowed when not in use.Now, the weight of the table is light, but it is a large flat wooden item so its not feather light. It isn't flimsy, but not the strongest of hardwoods, either. I doubt it would stand up to banging it around much. It isn't finished wood so I wouldn't let it get wet or set something wet on it.I set it on a table, worked on my puzzle, and then slide it under the couch when not working on the puzzle. It doesn't come with a cover, but I put an old sheet of linen over the top and that works just fine as a protection to the puzzle in progress. Oh, and I do 1000 piece-ers and I can fit the full outer pieces easily on my current puzzle of standard size for that amount of pieces.So, all in all, I was well-satisfied with my find. A great gift for the puzzler on your gift list, but worth it to grab if for yourself if you want a handy dandy place to store an in-progress puzzle.

THE GOOD:--------------* Unlike most sets I've seen that made from a combination of wood and mostly MDF, this one is mostly wood with very little MDF. Look at the pictures, and notice the frame, it's all wood. Because of that the whole unit looks a little unfinished. But it's fine leaving it as is.* This version also has a leather handle on the side.* Mass produced wooden products always make me nervous. Many will come with scrapes, scratches, chips, dents, etc. But the quality control here is very good, at least in my case. Nothing was damaged.* The four drawers can be completely removed.* Workspace is approximately 30x24.5 inches and can fit most 1000 piece puzzles.* Flat and and can easily be stowed away under your bed.THE BAD:------------* The pad on top feels a little cheap, and came wrinkled. A different set I just reviewed included a pad that was very lush and thick. I'll rate this one 4-Stars overall.

awesome puzzle board, so much better made than one hub choose for himself. this one has a good weight which is sturdy but, not too heavy. made well, no rough edges on ours and top is very smooth. back has rubber foot padding on edges and it comes with a rubberized soft topped foam like mat piece that you can use under puzzle or like i do now, use to cover your unfinished puzzle so cats don’t still pieces.. perfect board, you may get away with doing a 1500 in it too depending on width of the puzzle..well worth choosing this one for sure.

This is one of those items I never knew existed but seems like a perfect thing to own if you're constantly working on a puzzle.It is a bit larger than I antisipated, but is a great size and also has a drawer for storing your loose puzzle pieces, instructions ETC.A perfect holiday gift.
