Fits so much!
Perfect for travel. I wanted a backpack with an expandable compartment with straps I could tuck away. This was perfect and the water bottle pocket was a bonus. The laptop sleeve is massive to fit a 17" laptop but who even carries a 17" laptop anymore? I wish there was a zip it and make it smaller (length and depth-wise. I ended up putting a book at the bottom of the sleeve because I wanted my laptop on top where I could more easily access it without having to take stuff out. There was space for me to put travel paperwork and files where I could get to it without having to open the compartment where my clothes are--and letting everyone in the airport see my underwear.Nice, thick fabrication and padded back and straps. Could've done with a little less of the padding for my use but for business travel, the extra comfort makes sense.Backpack makes for great convenience and since the straps tuck away, you can hold the bag by one of the handles (vertically or horizontally) which makes for a more professional look going into business meetings. Best of both worlds.Sternum strap really helps when you've got the thing loaded. One or two gear straps for hooking on things like noise-cancelling headphones on the front or side of the bag would've made it even better--as it is, there are only spots to hook carabiners on the shoulder straps so no good when they're tucked away.

Great Travel Companion
Love this item. Was not expecting a durable and avant-garde look for the price. It has all the necessary zips and pockets to hold your stuff. Looks very sturdy with lots of space. Convenient for travel and a good overnighter that holds not only your electronics but personal items as well.

Comparison three travel backpacks bags Mogplof, Inatec and Kaka
Comparison three travel backpacks bags Mogplof, Inatec and KakaAfter careful research I tested three backpacks for airline travel. I was looking for a backpack that would hold my laptop, iPad and clothes for a trip where I didn't want to take a checked bag:Mogplof 19.5”x15”x7”(9.5”) 40L - $ 48Inatec 21.65”×13.4”×7.87” 40L - $ 56Kaka 20.5”x12”x6.7” 35L - $ 59Inatec is a smidge taller and less wide, might be better suited for taller people. Mogplof is wide and not so tall (and expandable), probably more suited for smaller people. Kaka has a more robust look and sidewise falls in between the two.Below you can find a detailed review of all three - if you are interested:Shoulder strapsInatec backpack has the longest shoulder straps. With that I mean that the padded part of the strap is longer than the other two backpacks. The advantage of that is that there will be no buckle directly between your arms and body which can become annoying when walking a while.Mogplof backpack has the shortest shoulder straps and again it might not be an issue but I prefer the longer straps.Kaka bag has a middle length between the two but also is the only bag with a waist belt. The waist belt will help with the distribution of the pack and therefore the length of the shoulder straps works with this pack.Sternum strapMogplof sternum strap is adjustable because it is on a slider.Inatec is adjustable by carefully taking it off the strap and move it upwards.Kaka sternum strap is only adjustable within one piece of webbing, you cannot take it off and it is not working for me (woman), it is way to low. I might have to take it off and replace it with another one, or not use one at all.Cushioning in the back and storing of the backpack strapsAll backpacks have lots of cushioning at the back and all backpacks store the straps one way or the other. Mogplof within a zipper pouch, Inatec within a Velcro pouch and Kaka with a cover that you zip around all the straps. The Mogplof has buckles at the bottom to make sure you can release the bottom part, the Inatec has lobster swivel clasps. Both work, it is just what you’d prefer.Extra straps to carry the bag and/or shoulder strapKaka has an extra strap to carry the bag as a shoulderbag. There are also three handles on the bag available when the shoulder (backpack) straps are put away. The Kaka has two handles at the front to carry (or stow away in upper compartment) and there is a big handle at the side.Mogplof and Inatec both have a handle at the top and a handle at the side.Something weird at the Inatec is that when you carry the backpack the side handle is on the left side. Since most righties take of their left shoulder first then swing the bag to the right, that handle is very hard to reach in one movement.Main compartmentMogplof has a main compartment of about 28 liters but can expand so the whole bag is about 40 liters.Inatec has a capacity of 40 liters andKaka that I compared is 35 liter. The Inatec definitely looks much larger when filled with my contents. The same contents fit in the expanded Mogplof but the bag is a little wider and a little less tall, so it doesn’t look that big. The Kaka also holds all my contents and still looks pretty small in size.Main openingThe main compartment in the Mogplof has a mesh cover that can be zipped up for some more organization when opening the front flap. The flap opens width wise. This compartment houses the extensions zipper, so that is where the extra 2.5 inches of storage comes and goes.Inatec has the main compartment at the same place but the flap opens lengthwise and there is no mesh cover to contain the contents when opening the zipper. The main compartment in the Kaka bag opens from the tall top but zips down about 3/4 of the way. So it will not open flat but maybe when using packing cubes that is not a big issue.Laptop compartmentThe laptop compartment in the Inatec is only opening 1/3 of the height of the bag. It will fit a laptop and potentially an iPad but it doesn’t fold all the way open for a tsa run through like the Mogplof does. The Mogplof will also easily accommodate a laptop and an iPad - and like I said before - it will fold all the way open for easy tsa scanning.Kaka has a laptop compartment in the main compartment and in a front zipper compartment (15” laptop). So at the tsa checkpoint you either open the main compartment or the front compartment. Both will not be super fast, not like the Mogplof or Inatec.(I can fit my 15” laptop and ipad 12” in the front compartment so I would only have to open that front compartment. )Rain coverInatec providers a rain cover but for the Mogplof the description says the bag is water resistant and there is not rain cover. The Kaka provides a rain cover but only when you carry it as a backpack, not as shoulderbag.Front zipper pouchesThe differences at the front are just the differences.Inatec has two horizontal zippers that divide the space equally.Mogplof has a horizontal zipper at the bottom half and a vertical zipper at the top half. The vertical zipper is not reachable when you wear the backpack but if you unload the backpack on your right and set it down you can instantly reach in with your right hand.Kaka has a bigger front compartment where the zipper is hidden somewhat between a top section. There is also a top velvet compartment for phone or something. The compression straps on the Inatec have a little elastic black container band to keep the end of the strap together. The Mogplof and Kaka don’t have that but don’t know if that is a big deal breaker.Pro Inateclonger shoulder straps at the frontLike the zipper design frontLike the back - padded and easy to put straps awayShoulder straps connect with lobster claspmain compartment folds open all the wayCon Inatectaller on my back (and I am 5’8”)Always 40 liter - only compression straps make is a little smallerlittle opening for laptopdon't like that the main compartment folds open length wisePro Mogplofexpandable, so smaller is also possiblebig opening laptop - easy for tsaextra inside mesh cover for main compartmentmain compartment folds open flat sidewaysI like the size: wider and shorter on my backAdjustable sternum on sliderCon Mogplofshorter shoulder straps - rubs between body and armsshoulder straps connect with bucklesPro Kakastraps everywhere to pull and tug and lift the bagshoulder strap configurationhip straplooks smaller than other two - holds same itemsCon Kakaif you don't like the more technical look, this bag is not for yousternum strap not usable at all for busty ladyhalf opening at top to put your items in, so packing cubes are a mustI hope this helps.I choose the Kaka due to smaller appearances and shoulder strap configuration.

Great carry-on travel bag
Quality made, thoughtfully designed, perfectly sized carry-on bag for air and train travel. The many compartments allows for organization, easy access to frequently needed items and secure storage of items you don't want readily accessible. Excellent expansion for additional purchased items. Quality zippers that don't catch or grab. The only thing that would make it better is a couple of wheels to roll it from gate to gate.

Simple carry on personal suitcase/backpack
This case is streamlined, simple design and easy to use. I used to carry on a backpack as my carry on for under the seat on a plane but always having to pack & unpack from the top was a pain. This case slows you to pack like a suitcase. You can pack jeans, dress pants, t-shirts, polios and button down shirts with minimal wrinkles. Can be carried this case vertical or horizontal and have the option of unzipping 2 straps for back pack carry. There is an expansion zipper that increases the case size by 1” for more storage. You might not be able to fit it under the seat in that configuration. All in all this small case gives you a lot of options. One note to be aware of, this case is NOT the most high quality in materials but with care you can make it last for your moneys worth.

Nice - But just not what I wanted I guess.
Would prefer a couple of smaller pockets and a shoulder strap when not using as a back pack. But it is very high quality. I am extremely picky when it comes to back packs.

Convenient carry on sized bag for short trips
After a bit of research on my needs for a carry on travel bag I decided on this bag. I've only used it on one trip so far and it seems pretty sturdy and well built. The hidden back pack straps were something I wanted and this does not disappoint. On the trip, once boarding was announced, as is typical of air travel these days, even before my zone was called the airline informed all remaining passengers that there was no more overhead bin space. Luckily, when the selling point says it fit under the seat, it is not wrong. I've posted 2 pics of the bag fitting just fine under 2 seats. One is an Airbus 321, and the other is a Boeing 777. No problems with either flight. BUT, this will only fit if you did not use the expanded size. If you packed so much you needed the expanded size of the bag you'll most likely need to muscle the bag under the seat or it won't fit at all. There are lots of pockets and zippers on the interior of the bag, good design for the storage side of the bag and good padding for the laptop/ tablet storage side of the bag.The drink bottle pocket on the side of the bag isn't large enough to hold a bottle though. I got an orange juice before the flight and if the bag is packed full the drink pocket isn't much use. Not sure it is a full 40L volume but it does carry a lot and is only a bit smaller than those roller carry on luggage bags.Overall, it worked well for my purposes.

Practical and useful traveller’s bag
Big enough for basic short term travelling. Would love to see the zippers in a contrasting colour to the colour of the bag to easily locate and to do the unzipping. Bag can be easily kept away unlike the stiff luggages.

Excellent travel bag
This little bag amazed me by how much I was able to pack for a 10 day trip. I bought the 40L bag and was able to pack 3 pairs of dress pants, 3 blouses, 2 shirts, 2 light weight pullovers, a pair of dress shoes, and a few small personal care products, that's a lot of stuff! The bag held its form, it didn't sink-in near the handle or shoulder straps and my clothes weren't wrinkled when I unpacked. It fit comfortably around the shoulders and lower back. However, wearing it for an extended period of time put some strain on my back. Much to my amazement, behind the secret compartment at the lower back of the bag is a place to add a waist belt. I bought one at a thrift store and it helped take the strain and weight off my back. I flew with a small airline company, the bag was too big to put under the seat but it fit the storage compartment. There were no problems at the check-in counter, the size of the bag met the standard size for a carry-on. My only issue is the shoulder straps. I'm female, 5 5", and a medium build. I found the straps at the top of the bag too close together. They weren't rubbing my neck, but i felt they could be spaced apart by a 1/2"-1". This i will try doing myself. I definitly recommend this bag to anyone making a short visit.

Large and roomy
This bag looks small, but when you open the expansion zipper it's a large bag. I only brought carry-on for a week and I was able to fit 2 shorts, 2 dresses, 2 tops and a light sweater plus my toiletries bag. In the laptop pocket I fit a notebook and book. The front zip pocket was perfect for easily accessing my liquids at security. The laptop pocket is on the back which I prefer. The pocket is padded but I wish it was a soft fabric so it won't scratch my laptop.I gave it 1 less star because of the zipper. They were stuck and the way the bag was folded bent the zipper and I am afraid it might break after a few uses.

nice carry-on
Got it for my mum as her carry-on in addition to the carry-on suitcase. It's a pretty substantial size for a carry-on bag. If you pack it full, it might not fit under the seat. The straps and buckles are great designs. My mum only used it on one trip so far, but it looks and feels sturdy. She's satisfied with the purchase.
