I found this to be a rather lovely tea. I've never had chrysanthemum before so I can't compare, but it had good body without being too heavy and a very nice, extremely mild aroma. It's odd to say it's hearty when it barely even changed the water color but that's how it felt to me.The other thing is use a strainer or something. The petals come off.I did use 1 packet of Splenda. I love teas and often use them for their medicinal properties. I have used Chrysanthemum tea before for its health benefits, but I found it a bit bitter. I was eager to try Sou Zen Chrysanthemum Flower Buds loose leaf tea..This tea comes as a loose-leaf tea. It is simple to brew. Just one and a half teaspoons teaspoons brewed for three to five minutes makes a mild and pleasant tea. I was happy to discover that Sou Zen’s Chrysanthemum flower bud tea is smooth and not at all bitter. It is caffeine free and contains no additives or preservatives.Chrysanthemum flower is full of health benefits. It is effective in relieving stress and lowering blood pressure. It is beneficial to the immune system and excellent for the eyes, too! This is the 2nd brand of Chrysanthemum Tea I have purchased this year. The other was more bark, stems, and super dark. This one is light refreshing and very easy to drink. I put 10 flowers in a pot of 12-14 ounces after the heat is off and let it steep for 20m. I drink it room temperature and may break it down into 2 servings or mix it with another drink in place of water. Lovely to drink. Health benefits are case by case but I got it for the magnesium benefit for muscles, sleep, and cramps when working out, hiking, in the pool, etc

The chrysanthemum blossoms are in good condition and look fresh. I found the tea a bit light and not as flavorful as I would have wanted. I increased the amount of tea used which improved the taste but it is still light for me.

This bag of flower buds includes of 2.8 oz. of product which is pretty good size compared to the price that you pay for. the flowers are pretty small size and you can easily use them to make your tea. They add so much flavor and smell to your tea and I love how healthy they are. No added sugar and caffeine free so you can have a tea with them at night before go to bed. The taste might be everyone's favorite but I personally like it.

I have drank before Sou Zen lavender earl grey tea and loved it! This is by the same company SouZen. I like that it states the source of these chrysanthemum buds; from Beijing, China. I grew up drinking this. It is good for cooling your body system (eg after eating durians or lots of fried food) and is a healthy beverage. After brewing, I would add honey to add a little sweetness. Works well also by adding some ginseng slices! If you stay close to a local Asian supermarket, you should be able to get these as well and also at a much lower price. Overall I love this!

This is cute -- easy to measure. You just follow the directions -- I think it is like 5 flowers for a mug of tea. This is a good product and this herbal tea is supposedly good for you. So, I am incorporating it daily. This is well packaged and trustworthy. It tastes like herbal tea.

The tea is lovely I just wish the little buds opened up a bit more for a stronger flavor, but really nice.
