The tube is measured by overall length. That is what we researched when looking for this part and it was exactly what we needed.

Q: Does this come with the nylon bushings?

The one I got today didn't come with them. The one I bought 2 yrs ago did. Guess they are trying to save a few cents.

Q: I have an old Lane recliner. The tube measures 24.5 x.75. Will this work?

It depends , I ordered it to replace the broken one on the recliner , still had to drill some holes to make it match Work great for 4 months but the person 320 lbs it’s depends if you’re willing to take the risk , hope that helps

Q: Is it possible to get this rod in 25.5 or 26 inch length with same 1/2 inch diameter? My recliner needs this specification.
