2" fluff around the outside only
First I did read the reviews and they did state that this product is not nearly as puffy as pictured this is true. It is puffy only around the edges like an inflatable pool mat. I have this on a tempura pedic mattress that is to warm and tends to be hard. Now it does add softness to the bed some temperature control and seems to be well made. It holds tightly and does not slip.

Very nice topper, very comfortable.
This is the most comfortable mattress topper I've ever used. It's not squishy like the poly fill and not prickly like feather/down toppers and it sleeps cool. I'd recommend this to anyone.

Very good mattress pad!
I bought a locally made cushion firm pocket spring mattress that is very high quality and necessary for my spine problems, but I also have moderate to advanced arthritis in my shoulders, hips, and knees, so the mattress is just a bot too firm. I am also a hot sleeper, so I did a lot of research to find a topper that wouldn't counteract all of the firmness of the mattress and wouldn't make me hot, and that would provide a bit more cushion for my hips, shoulders and knees. This pad does that almost perfectly.This pad sleeps cool! It is made of really good materials, and the cover is high quality, soft cotton. It fits easily over my 15 inch mattress with room to spare, so it could probably accommodate mattresses up to 18 inches. There is no smell out of the box. It is just a bit less thick than I expected, but it does soften the mattress and it cushions my problem areas. If you are looking for a mattress topper, this pad might not be for you, but if you just want to soften up a firm mattress, it is perfect!

Overpriced flat and disappointing.
I love a cozy, plush, billowy mattress pad. This is not one. Looks nothing like the picture and may have well been sleeping directly on the mattress. I had to get rid of my less expensive pads because they fell apart after numerous washing. I thought I'd treat myself to an upgrade and bought this one. I could have bought 3 of the more comfy pads for what I paid. Don't waste your money.

Not too thick.
This is thicker than a mattress pad, but not as thick as some of the gel toppers. I wanted something to put on my IKEA fold out sleeper sofa to soften the mattress a little and it does just that. I can leave it on while folded. It feels more like a mattress pad than a topper.

It's okay.The picture is misleading and I didn't feel the description is correct. After sleeping on it one night I ordered a different mattress pad.

You get what u pay for
Was amazing for about first month and then it broke down and is nothing more then a mat cover ... Wish i would spent a little more and got something that last more then a month
