Sharpest Chisel Tip I've Seen
40 yard shot on a Blacktail Buck. Broadside, 60 lb draw, 480 gr. arrow... complete pass-through. Cut a rib on the way in and another on the way out. Found the arrow 15 yards behind where it hit my deer. Blood trail was good and the deer faceplanted 40 yards from point of impact.I originally bought these because if you drop them into a hardwood block from 8" up, they stick right in. Trocar, Slick Trick, QAD Exodus, Montec G5s did not. They bounce off and leave a small dent. The Grim Reaper Hades stab right in like a dang spear tip.I screwed these in to random arrows and all of them group with field points at 60 yards, no special tuning required. These are my new go-to 3 blade fixed. Great product, great quality. To anyone complaining about a poor bloodtrail... there are about 1000 factors that contribute to blood trail, so don't blame it solely on the broadhead. EVERY broadhead I've looked at from Magnus to Rage to Montec have a few leaving poor reviews for lack of a blood trail. My deer was gushing and easy to track. Give these a try!

Should be called "The Grim Reaper"
These broad-heads are fantastic. Extremely accurate and extremely effective. Huge wound channel starting immediately on impact. Animal will pass humanely within minutes, like 1 to 3 minutes.Shooting 100 grain Grim reaper Whitetails and smaller versions, all with same effectiveness. Arrows are cruising 280 plus FPS.

Amazing penetration
This product obliterated the lungs of every deer I have shot I’ve never had a problem with them opening. It’s actually almost impossible for them not to open they fly just like a field tip. They are super sharp and deer never run more than 50 yards. I tried to post pictures, but Amazon wouldn’t let me I would give 10 stars if I could.

Great broadheads. Make sure you choose the best size depending on your set up.
I have been using these broadheads for the past 5 or 6 years. They leave excellent blood trails provided that your hitting the right spots. Some folks have asked about the High Kinectic Energy needed. You need to calculate your kinetic energy. Grim Reaper recommends that you have at least 65 ft lbs of KE. They have a calculator on their website. You need to know your total arrow weight in grains including broadhead, nock, vanes and insert. You also need to know your arrow speed. There are several calculators online to approximate arrow speed without a chronograph. The reason this is important... I know from experience (previous bow)... If you do not have enough KE the whitetail special will not provide enough penetration depending on angle of impact. If you do not have enough KE go with 1 3/4" Grim Reapers as they worked great with my last bow.I am a huge fan of reapers. I love that I can replace individual parts if needed and the only time I had a problem was penetration with my previous bow and the whitetail special. Which I know of others having same issue. My current Mathews Creed set at 68lbs with 30 inch Gold Tip XT Hunter 7595 arrows has zero issues with penetration.

Flawless and Gives me High Confidence
I have used these blades to take two deer and they are absolutely amazing. They fly very true to the field points, at least up to 35 yards. The super wide blade gives great cutting diameter and helps tremendously in less than perfect shot placement. The practice tip that comes with it is not a long blade practice tip, but it has not mattered. I have not experienced any type of failure with these and have only heard great things from my friends that use them. I have not had the same results with Rage, those have failed me multiple times.I took a large buck quartering away(at a large angle away) and it drilled deep in from the hindquarters to the far opposite side. The buck fell within 35 yards.I'm a huge fan of Grim Reapers and I now prefer the Whitetail specials. I have not used this wide tip on a hog, but would expect it to perform excellent. The 1 3/8 has performed flawlessly on the hogs I have shot.
