Pyramex Zone II Safety Glasses

I bought these because I don't like spending $75 or more for designer sunglasses for running and cycling, since I'm liable to lose/break them within a few months anyhow. $15 or less is more my price range. Plus, I get the added benefit of actual eye protection, in case a rock flies up and hits me in the face (it's actually happened--I was very glad that I was wearing safety glasses for that ride! It wasn't this specific pair, but it was another pair by the same brand. I heard a clicking/cracking noise and felt an impact, but when I stopped to see if there was damage, there was a tiny, barely perceptible scratch. Didn't affect use of the glasses at all). This pair is also nice because the lenses aren't quite as huge as in some safety glasses, so you don't end up looking like a space alien. Highly recommended!Update: 5 years later, and I've bought several more pairs and have been very pleased with all. Over time the shiny coating on the front (if you get the mirrored type) accumulates scratches, making it difficult to see. However given how long this takes and how inexpensive these are, I think it's still a good deal for the money. As to the safety factor: I wrecked my bike a while back while wearing these and landed on my face (helmet was useless--the way I crashed it somehow did not contact the pavement at all, only the lower two thirds of my face). I was going ~15mph plus whatever angular momentum got added as I flew magnificently over the handlebars but the glasses did not break or bend at all. In fact, they were so strong that they actually bruised my eye socket, but I'd rather get a small impact bruise than have my face (or worse, eyeball) get road rash or have a fractured cheek bone. I did have to replace the glasses because the lens was scratched beyond repair, but in this case I am happy to do my part to keep pyramex in business!

Good price for decent glasses and they seem well-made. The look more like sunglasses than the traditional safety glasses. I bought them to primarily use during yard work so they should fit the bill. I can see why people use them for riding bikes as they fit close to the face and wrap around the temples. My only complaint would be that they are very tight-fitting behind the ears. While this will help keep them from sliding off, they are tight enough to be uncomfortable but I'm hoping that will resolve after wearing a few times.

The gray lens are perfect for those days where you need just a little tint to ease your eyes so that your not squinting.However, there is distortion all along the edge so its great for focused work but you will get distracted if you look around.

Company contacted me because they were out of the color I ordered. They recommended a replacement. I am glad for their customer service. I enjoy it. Looks good and works well for me.

These are the only sunglasses I’ve ever wore that fit me like a glove.

Are they the most stylish? No.Are they the most protective? No.But you will be hard pressed to find another pair of sunglasses that provide safety and look this good for the money. It is the combination that makes this a 5 star product in my book.
