I ordered this drive camera on prime day for $25 & I wasn't expecting much from it. It is a nice unite for the price works great for what I wanted it for & its plug n play. If you don't want it on just leave it unplugged. Its a smaller unit so it hides behind the rearview merroir without any distractions.

I had some issues getting it to work in the beginning, but after resetting the device it has since worked well. The image it pretty nice. Audio isn't very good, but I didnt get it for that. Also my internal battery is non-existent, but it's going to be plugged in at all times. So far seems like a good buy for the price.

Easy to install. Easy to figure out various functions. Had some questions, but customer service was really good. Bought two, will buy two more soon.

I purchased 2 of these and one works fine. The other I have nothing but trouble with. The charger was defective until I replace it and the camera keeps turning off after about 5 minutes. I've tried everything to remedy the situation, but now I'm just going to replace it.

She had been wanting one for a while, so i wanted to get her one, i couldnt afford a super expensive one like Garmins (Garmen? Idk) and was a little worried this wouldnt do the trick, but it works great! Now i dont have to worry about her getting screwed over if someone hits her and insurance doesnt want to cover.

This is the nicest camera I have seen on Amazon for an affordable price. I had to buy an SD card this did not come with one. The camera was easy to set up. It does not drain my battery like other camera. I like it so much I bought another one for my other car.

Update: the company reached out to me via email after my review. They showed compassion and offered to send me a new dashcam. I hope the last one was a bad apple.I got this in case of an accident and needed proof. I got into a car accident and the other driver lied to the police saying it was my fault. I downloaded all the footage to provide as proof but to my disappointment, it cut off about 10 seconds before the accident. I had changed all the settings for the date but the footage still had the wrong date and time. Watching the previous clips, the gap intervals are all over the place. Some are 20 seconds between videos, some were 10 seconds, some with no gap. When I needed this dashcam it failed me.However I will say that the quality of the video recordings are good.

This product is very good to use, and the after-sales service from the manufacturer is very good. When I used it for almost a year, there were some minor problems with the machine. After informing the manufacturer, I immediately contacted me to help solve the problem. The after-sales service team is very patient, professional, and enthusiastic. In short, I will choose this brand of products!

The media could not be loaded.  After returning the other two Apex units for horrible sound quality, I have installed this and it seems to be working fine and the audio is clean. Once I've used it for a bit I may update this review. But so far, so good. Added a video...Edit/Update: I have been using this dash cam for a month now, and just boosted it to 5 stars from 4. It's been working flawlessly. The info says it has a low temp limit of -4f, but recently we had a good cold snap to -20f and it still worked flawlessly. Hopefully this continues. My previous cam was a ultra cheap $29 special that I used for 3 years, and it still works, so I'm expecting good things from this one. So far, so good. Always read the 1 star reviews first when buying anything, if the unit has a inherent problem it will be constantly noted in the 1 star reviews. Currently, this unit has NO 1 star reviews, and that's encouraging.

Software issue, not reliable. 40% of the time it works, 60% it either freezes or shows "Please format SD Card" even though the card already formatted as per instruction.It randomly stops recording without a sign, shows the message above, and will not continue record even if I restart it (turn on and off again). No it's not reliable. Imagine if it stops recording and you get into an accident right after.I returned it.

After reading the great reviews I decided to get this as a starter dash cam. I got it and set it up as it said to with no problems. However, when I started using it daily, it would stop recording randomly (the red light isn’t on but the blue light is still flashing on the left side); Assuming that red has to be on constantly. That’s my only issue so far. The quality is also okay during the day but not good at night. It continually tells me that there isn’t enough light even tho there is imo (I tried high beams but nothing). So if you intend to use this during the night, I would recommend a higher quality one.Edit: I have spoken to customer support and they have helped me fix my issues. They were very helpful and I appreciate all that they did. I would definitely recommend this after going through that experience with their support team!

Dashcams can get pretty expensive, but all I need is something to show the insurance in case I get in an accident.I put in a 64gb micro SD card, went through the settings, and then installed it in my car. The wire is long enough for any mounting position on the windshield. It's actually pretty easy to tuck the cord behind the cars padding. The suction cup sticks well in baking heat and freezing cold.The video is good quality, and the camera lens is wide enough to capture everything in front of you. I leave this plugged in to the cig lighter all the time, even when the car is off. If the car is off, the camera shuts down, meaning it will not drain your battery. When you start the car, the camera turns on automatically.I really like how simple it is. I know other cams can sync to your phone, and do all kinds of sharing and fancy things. I don't need that. I just need it for the worst case scenario, and this is perfect for that.

Looks good, decent quality, easy to install and set up. picture/vid quality ok. Day time videos are clear enough to read license plates and street signs while going slow or stopped. Night videos are not as clear, but if you strain your eyes enough you might be able to read. Good enough for the value. If you’re looking for a good quality camera spend more money.
