Battery Operated Candlesticks
Fabulous product for Shabbat and holiday use where an open flame is prohibited. Easy to operate and takes standard batteries. Perfect for assisted living, nursing home, hospital or travel usage.

Shabbat Candles
Lovely Shabbat candles. Great little details like the wax melting at the tops of the candles. Flickering light as candle light would be. Great quality.

Skip these and use small round ones
Right out of the box these did not work. Very disappointing as they arrived with enough time to prepare to use them for the Sabbath. I am trying to make 2 little old ladies happy. They are stuck in a nursing home and they wish to observe Shabbat together. I am so glad I didn't mention that I was getting these. They would have been even more disappointed. Does not work with batteries it came with or with brand new batteries. We tried everything but there is no connection being made. Great idea but back to the drawing board. I recommend using the small round tea light candles that come with a little battery. These were given to us at a hospital one time, and though small, did the trick. Sending back this week.

Great Product
No on off switch but you just turn each candle slightly....which is kinda what you would do if you were burning real candles anyway. Like the flicker and if you forget to shuy off they do it automatically in about 6 hours but they do turn on again about the same time you started the next day so you do have to manually turn them off unless you want them turning on and off everyday.

Poor design
The candles are fairly sturdy plastic, and so are the gold color bases. The on-off switch is located on the bottom of the candle, making it necessary to remove the candle to turn it on or off, and it is a very small button that is way too hard to push. You can’t use your finger, because the button has to be pushed further in than the level of the base. So you have to use your fingernail, which is made more difficult than it needs to be by making the button round on top.

Perfect for our needs
My Father In Law wanted Shabbat candles in his new assisted living apartment. Real candles are not allowed so I purchased these for him. He loves them!
