Worked right away right out of the box, it is the same as the one original, the only difference is it takes aa batteries instead of aaa.

Works great! Is the exact remote that I’ve had for years!
Our original remote had some buttons that weren’t working after several years of use. As I looked on Amazon prime for a new remote I wanted to make sure I got exactly the same one that I already had. It was a very easy to find this one. It has been working perfectly and I am so happy to have the same remote that I am familiar with using.

Good remote for the price.
This is a good tv remote. The price is great. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star is because the remote doesn't have the buttons at the top that switch between DVD, TV, SAT/CABLE like my standard remote I received with my TV. If I would have known this I wouldn't have bought it since my standard remote was the only one we had for our DVD player and that was one thing I needed the remote to have. Great product and price anyways.
