Fierce Queen: L.A. Ruthless, Book 2

I wish this author's books were more consistent from one to the next, but this one was much better than the first one in the series, although it still needs an editor for missing words, duplicate words, switching from past to present tense & point of views. That being said, there was much less overuse of the descriptions & terminology. I liked all the characters much better in this one and the who's the daddy twist towards the end was great.

This is book two of Alana and Alejandro's story be sure to read Fierce King before reading this book. When Alejandro's family is threatened he will do anything to keep them safe. Will love be his downfall or the one thing that makes him fight even harder to win?

Very intriguing and keep you guessing as to what is going to happen next. Love how Alejandro wife came out of her shell . Looking forward to reading book 3 & 4. Love series more than standalone’s.

I read this book in two days!! It was just as good as the first one. Now I am ordering the third one. If your unsure after reading reviews about purchasing the book....I say order because you won't regret it!

I enjoyed the characters and the story lines of this book. I would definitely recommend that it be read along with the other books in the series.

Really excellent book. I love how obsessed with each other Alejandro and Alena are.There is only one thing that kept me from giving these books 5 starsPlease please please for the love of God, stop referring to it as "cream". That term kept jarring me out of whatever scene it was and I've never heard another person ever call it that. Ok, there, I've said my piece.

Dear lord this book has taken my heart and emotions all over the place! This book has it all and I can’t wait for the next one!

I'm so happy with this story. It ended beautifully. There was a lot of steamy scenes on pretty much every chapter. You just have to read it. It was so so good.

It is vital that you understand the dynamic between this incredible couple and how their relationship has grown to what it is in this book.The King and Queen of LA have already been through enough in their brief time together. Their arranged marriage was supposed to be a business deal between the Montoya’s and Alana’s politician father… but what started out as a strained and forced union soon blossomed into a fiercely passionate love that neither can deny.They drive each other crazy and push each other’s buttons to distraction but it’s only because of how much love they have for each other. Will Alejandro have the strength to do what he must to keep his wife by his side forever?Really enjoyed this book and the first two books in this fabulous series. Admittedly, it took me a while to warm to Alejandro initially - but wow, by half way through book one, the attraction was there and I fell in love with him along with Alana. Sure, he can be grumpy, arrogant and dangerously dark, but when he shows Alana the loving side he is nothing short of adorable.As for Alana, well she grows as a woman, a wife and a mother figure for Lucia throughout this book and even though she still has those niggling doubts she starts to trust her own feelings and believe that she is all that Alejandro needs.Loved the epilogue… really made my heart swell with so much love and relief. Can’t wait to read book three as I’ve already read that it’s about Lucia and Jax… which I get the feeling it’s going to be pretty explosive! Especially if Papa Alejandro finds out!Well done Sadie… yet another fantastic read. Your books are so incredibly immersive that I find myself getting lost in them for hours. Excellent stuff.

I read the first part and it was OK. This one, however, was a torture- I only managed to stick through 26%. Both characters are even more annoying than in part 1.Mmc is borderline abusive, fully controlling and unlikable. There's no redeeming characteristics.Mfc is shallow, unlikable and the way they author 'made' her is difficult to digest. Plus, the author's use of 'I giggled' and 'I purred' is exaggerated to an extreme.S** scenes- sound really forced, as if the author wanted to force a spicy and angsty moments, which fell extremely flat, and not s**y at all. Dirty talk included. No, just no.The only good quality is the overall writing style- story is fluent and reads well, quickly, but lack of substance just killed this novel.

The brilliant storyline and hot, sexy chemistry  continues from book 1. The title is perfect to describe how Alana is transforming into the Queen of LA and I absolutely love these characters in these books, including the new ones that have been introduced. This is already an amazing series and I can't wait for more books to be written...because there has GOT to be more than one more!Highly recommended!

Enjoyed the continuation, Alejandro is possessive, loving and passionate with Alana but also ruthless to his enemies, wow what a combination. Alana has grown a back bone and developed into a fierce woman. Such an amazing couple. Glad the got their wish at the end. Few twists, drama and plenty of heat. Interested to read the third book.

Liked seeing Alana's firece side develop. Liked het relationship with young pregnant Lucia. Probably would give 3.5* if half stars were available! Lot of sex, some felt repetitive and not necessary to the story.
