It fits me Dietz hurricane lantern perfectly. My old one got cracked by stepping on it (don't ask it was my own fault.) glad to have this and not a whole new lantern.E: Amazon was great and packaged it well - in a box rather than in a bag that would break it. so good on them!

It is a perfect fit. Better than the original which was slightly crooked on top (it did not affect performance or looks) and which I accidentally broke. Do not be misled by the picture which shows the bottom diameter larger than the top, the real item is the other way around just like the original. The bad news is that it costs almost as much as the lantern itself. That's the price you pay for clumsy fingers.
