Danco88755 Sillcock Repair Kit for Mansfield Outdoor Faucet Handle

Excellent product, shipped quickly and arrived before expected date. None of the hardware stores or plumbing supply shops in town carried this as they wanted to sell you the whole spigot fixture. Replacing the whole spigot would involve cutting out drywall in a tight spot and possibly a plumber. This package of supplies was exactly what we needed to fix a leaky outdoor faucet easily. I used a little bit of plumbers tape around the threads of the nylon nut and used all of the replacement parts that came in the package. Worked like a jiffy…not a single water drop. Works great and it took less than 10 minutes to complete.

It would have been perfect had the brass tube with the seals attached snapped into my Mansfield valve but it didn't and the spring (not included) just shot it back out but I was able to use the seal assembly from it and attach it to my old part. the new part needs a larger lip around the base so it snaps into the valve tube and stays put. The other parts work perfect and no leaks anymore

A great set to replace a leaking faucet. The whole repair took about 15 minutes from start to finish. After the assembly was repaired, no more leaks! I hooked the hose up and went around the yard spraying. Not a single drip of water after the replacement parts went in. However, I did rate this a 4 due to a the big nut being made of I believe nylon. When tightening back up, it appears to get scuffed up. However, shouldn't be much of an issue if you repair the assembly correctly, just would to have liked to have seen a hard plastic. Overall, very happy with the purchase as it did stop my leak!

The Mansfield frost free valve has to have the outer locknut threaded in reverse the locknut in this package was threaded normally so it doesn’t work.
