FootJoy Men's Hyperflex Boa Golf Shoe

These shoes are by far the most comfortable golf shoes I've ever worn, and I have been through many shoes. These are almost like 2 separate shoes in one: they are super soft and immediately comfortable, no break in period and feel like house slippers, however, the soles are firm and with soft spikes the grip is incredible, much more stable like a rigid pair of golf spikes.They are waterproof and hold up well. I love the soft "sock" around your foot, especially for anyone who wears low-profile socks, these will be super comfortable. The BOA system is excellent, and identical to all other BOA products, such as snowboarding boots etc. You can quickly dial them in to how tight you want them to be, and adjust and fully loosen in seconds. I really prefer this to standard laces, much faster and get the exact tightness you want.Two things to note:1. Although they are soft fabric material and somewhat breathable, my feet did get hot in the summer from walking. I suppose this is because they are also waterproof, and are intended to have this layer of moisture protection which works both ways, so they do tend to trap the heat of your foot in the shoe. Not terrible, but worth noting.2. These shoes run extremely big. Holy crap, who over there at Footjoy is in charge of this? I typically wear 9.5 in basically every shoe manufacturer in the known world, and occasionally I'll wear a 9 in some brands. I started with size 9 in these (due to other reviewers complaints about sizing), and they were way too big. Send them back and ordered an entire size small (size 8), and those fit perfect. I haven't worn size 8 since middle school, but there you have it. Make sure you order 1 full size smaller for a true fit.In summary: excellent feel, extremely comfortable for walking, no break-in period necessary, waterproof and stable. Can get hot in the summer/hot days on the course, and order a full size smaller.

These are super comfortable and easy to keep clean. Improved over previous non-laced versions. Pricey but well worth the investment.

Shoes nice and comfortable. I like the mesh top. Hopefully the waterproofing will last. Was 2 sizes too big and had to make two returns to get the right size. Footjoy issue I guess. Also the sock heel is a bit high and will dig into your Achilles if wearing no show socks.

Great shoe and is very comfortable to use. I switched over from Nike, and these were night and day difference. Took a couple rounds to break in completely.

These golf shoes are perfect for me. Fit great, easy to clean and easy to change the spikes.

These shoes are super comfortable right out of the box, and still manage to provide excellent grip. As mentioned by many others these run a 1/2 size big. I’m a size 10 in every shoe and a 9.5 of these fit perfect.The flaw in the shoe is the boa system. I’ve used boa on my snowboard boots for almost 15 years, and I set them and can snowboard all day. Not so with these FJ’s. I have to retighten both feet at every tee box and that’s riding. Seems like a major design flaw which is very unfortunate.

FootJoy dose it again! This shoe is great. Light weight, comfortable, supportive and keeps your foot dry even in the heaviest rain. I have been wearing these for over a year now and still feel great, probably around 50 rounds in them walking. The boa system is great. If you have not tried it yet, don't wait.

I was looking for lightweight shoes that would allow me to walk 18 holes with comfort. Normal leather shoes tend to be uncomfortable when walking 18 holes. Feet swell and shoes get tight. These expand/stretch but I can always tighten the BOLA. So, they work for walking 18. Feet didn't get tight or sore. However, they look funny ... like I'm wearing bedroom slippers on the course. Ha. And maybe they're just a tad bit too stretchy, foot slides around a bit, not snug. Probably can't win them all.
