Great Light for a Planted Aquarium
Bought this light based on a recommendation by MD Fish Tanks on YouTube, and glad I did! I needed something to spotlight the dark corner at the back of my 36" Bowfront Corner aquarium. A strip light illuminates the front, but the back corner was dark and plants struggled to grow. This inexpensive light puts light right where I need it.

VERY bright and great for backyard
I bought these to light up the backyard in conjunction with an additionally-purchased motion & dusk/dawn sensor. It was easily hard-wired, and best of all, it is EXTREMELY bright. However, the unit I had received became defective after a week of use, and upon contacting the seller, a replacement was sent right away.Overall, I am happy with the purchase and the seller's response. I plan on buying another one to mount on the ceiling of my garage for DIY work.If you found this review helpful, please hit the "Yes" button to encourage me to write more. Thank you!

Not as bright as claimed
I installed this in my office, right next to a 85W CFL bulb that I've had for a long time. For comparison, that bulb is rated for 4250 lumens vs this LED which is rated for 10,000 lumens. From my perspective, both of these produce the same amount of illumination in my office when I tested at night with all other lighting turned off. The LED light is whiter/blue (which is to be expected) than the CFL bulb. I bought the CFL bulb also on Amazon - ALZO 85W Joyous Light Full Spectrum CFL Light Bulb 5500K, 4250 Lumens, 120V, Daylight White Light, Extra Large I am clearly disappointed with the light output. This light consumes more power (100W) than the bulb (85W) and does not appear to be any brighter in light output. I haven't used any tools to measure light output so I may be a bit off, but I do expect I should be able to tell the difference between 4250 lumens and 10,000 lumens. In addition, the LED light flickers ever so lightly, more so for the first few minutes after startup.I ended up having the light installed prior to testing it so am not sure if I want to now remove and return it.I do like the form, built in stand and light weight. It is bigger than I imagined from the pictures but that doesn't bother me.

Excellent item
I used this as a replaqcemtn for a light table...not its intended purpose. It works fantastic and was far less expensive than just replalcing the old bulb. I wish that I had bought several. As an outside flood light, I would imagine that this would work spectacularly. Power consumption is almost nothing, and the light output is huge.

Super bright!
We can see our back porch at night! This flood light is super bright, making our back porch almost look like daytime when it's pitch black out. Before getting this we just had a standard single-bulb light fixture which barely gave any light so whenever we were out there and it started getting dark I'd have to bring out a couple LED lanterns. This thing is so much nicer and provides so much more light!Installing it was kind of a pain, though. That's not the fault of the flood light, just the fault of me not understanding everything I would need to install it. Since I was replacing an existing light fixture I didn't need to run any new wire, but I did need to get a round cover for the in-wall junction box that was exposed from removing the fixture. This flood light only has a single mounting bar which isn't near wide enough to cover the hole. I found the bottom of a blank CD spindle in the house and used that temporarily until I could get to the hardware store to pick up a real one.The part that was a real pain was trying to hold the flood light up while screwing in the plate. Had this been made so the wire could be disconnected from the flood light I would have been able to remove the flood light from the mounting bar and easily screwed the plate in. Holding just the mounting bar while I did that would have been no sweat, but the wire doesn't disconnect from the flood light so I had to have someone help me out and hold it while I screwed the plate and mounting bar to the junction box. Please be aware that this doesn't come with any mounting hardware, no screws or washers or anything. I suppose that's fine since they wouldn't know what size screws you need, just be aware that you'll need to get your own before installing this. I'm not an electrician so the wiring also wasn't obvious to me. There is a brown, blue, and yellow and green wire whereas the wires in my junction box were black, white, and a brown ground wire. I had to look this up online to find that I needed to connect the brown wire of the flood light to the black wire, the blue to the white, and the yellow and green to the brown ground wire.

500 watts is Super Bright. 2 years old and still works great!
I love how bright this is for the money spent. I have a back yard that is about 250 feet by 175 feet wide and this fills it and then some with very bright light, feels like daylight when I turn it on, and my dogs love that during these dark winters that I get in New England. I'd say I get 10-20 times the brightness out of this then my 2 150-watt flood lights I also have out there. I've had this on the side of my house uncovered for 2 years and it still works just like the day I got it. The unit is rather large, so just make sure you have room for it where ever you plan on hanging it. I bought a plug with a wireless remote so I could turn it on and off, since it is powered in the attic.

Excellent Illumination, Good value, but not top of the line quality.
Ordered (10) 100W 10k lumen for the main 30x68' barn/workshop. Replaced all the 8' 2 bulb fluorescent fixtures. Excellent illumination mounted 12' above grade along the roof truss beams approx every 16'. Fully integrated, easy to install. Update: 4 months usage, only had one fail to date (just past the support period, go figure!). Apparently it's in the electronic board as all else checks fine. Yes, I will reinstall another. These are well worth it, with excellent illumination and no cold weather flicker. Will eventually replace the exterior flood lights with them next.### Update March 9, 2019: now have a total of 3 out of 10 units fail after 4+ months. Will try another brand. Still OK if you're using occassionally, but for continuous lighting (12 + hours a day), the electronics are "light weight" so the PCB electronics don't hold up.
