I have a small head so this slips over nicely and feels very nice and soft on my skin. It's thick so it basically stands up by itself and does a good job of keeping the wind out. Well made, except for the cord lock which is not strong enough to tighten the cord. If this is important to you, you'll need to remove the cord lock they have used and replace it with a much more heavy duty cord lock to get the job done.Since I need to cinch it tighter around the nose area, it's important to be able to have that device work properly. Now it is working properly and I absolutely love this piece for warmth and for softness.

I have property in Northern Michigan, with the winter months I realized I needed something like this to keep me warm! This is a perfect fit with room! Seems very warm as well. Soft Material. I was worried if it was long enough to cover my neck and my nose and mouth, and it does! Perfect!!! Can't wait to use it next time we are up there in the bitter cold!
