OFM ESS-3086-RED High-Back Racing Style Bonded Leather Gaming Chair, Red

Got this for my boyfriend last Christmas. He loves it. It’s a simple design and a good price and he says it’s very comfortable just have to break it in.

I honestly don't understand why everyone has an issue with this chair mine came pretty fine. It is the nicest feeling chair I've ever sat in (but then again I'm not an expert chair tester lol). The only issue i had was with assembling it. The last hole on the arm rest wasn't lining up easy (probably made like that intentionally) all it took was a little elbow grease. I had this whole chair assembled in 20 mins and I've only disassembled one chair in my whole life (my old chair). Oh and the packaging was horrible but i prefer a company to dump most of the money into the product rather than packaging that I'm going to throw away anyways. I just like to see my money being put into the product rather than in the trash. Even though the packaging was eh the overall assembly was pretty streamline, not a lot of parts, pretty easy instructions. This chair does not feel like a high back chair its like in between mid and high (kind of weird but i like it) I'm 6'2 and it is comfortable. I wouldn't call this a "gaming" chair because it doesn't have the features of a gaming chair. Its more or less is an office/computer chair with a cool design IMO. Oh and the best feature is the pneumatic "lift" of whatever its called is not welded in unlike the amazon basic one I had before. That is important because when the pneumatic lift thing breaks and your chair starts automatically sinking, you can just switch it out for another one for less than $20 and your chair is brand new again. Overall I am very happy with this purchase. Im sorry to anyone that has a bad experince with this chair because i truly like it.*I will update in the event anything happens to the chair*

~~~~ UPDATE 2 MONTHS OF HAVING IT ~~~~~The chair after having it for 2 months has worn out pretty badly.. I use it for about 7-10 hrs a day and the back support is just awful, I'll find myself having to squarm myself down awkwardly just trying to find some sort of comfort after hours sitting, my DX Racer was good for LONG term sitting this one is NOT.for 120$ i'd save 80$ more and get a DX racer or at least one with better backplate.--------------------------------------------------------------------So I had a DX Racer chair for about 3-4 years until by my mistake I broke the footing, so needed a replacement and decided to try this chair since it was around a good price point and the color's fit my gaming setup.If you are a person/gamer who enjoy's leaning backwards at a 120 degrees angle then this chair is for you..if you are a person/gamer who enjoy's leaning forwards at around 90-80 degrees angle (most people) this chair will slightly annoy you.It has no option to lean forward or to move the back section at all, just up and down on the butt cushion.It's not super big deal since my back is trash anyway but other then the annoying 120 degree angle this chair is nicely made, the butt cushion is like a soft pillow, the material feels rich and looks great and no stitching was messed up on arrival.Can't complain. for 122$ S&H total it's good.

Purchased to use as an office chair while working 8+ hours/day from home as a remote employee.

This chair I bought as an inexpensive office chair to replace am expensive one that I did not like. As such I did not come into this purchase with high expectations. However, I have been pleasantly surprised by it's quality. It is not up to the level of some of the more expensive and adjustable chairs, but it is very good for the price point.Pros: Easy and short construction time. I have had several chairs where u have to be a professional body builder to line up some screw holes, but on this chair everything just fit.I weigh about 240ish, right at the top of this things capacity, and I can release the lean back lever and lean all the way back without fearing tipping over. The base is wide enough where is is just very stable.The arm rests being able to be raised is a big plus for me and they are quite comfortable.Cons: It is not an expensive chair so it doesn't use the highest quality materials. On hot days the pleather can be quite sticky, and the mesh padding can be uncomfortable.The center of the front of the seat has almost too much padding where I find it mildly uncomfortable to have my knees on it, I usually have my legs on either side. Not for the short of leg.I sit in this chair sometimes for 6+ hours, I really cannot see the seat padding lasting more than a year or two at most. To be expected at this price point though.The backrest arches back at around my lower mid back, so I cannot lean back into the chair comfortably while using my keyboard.Overall:. Great chair for the price point. Recommended if u want a good chair that u will sit in for a short gaming season, especially with a controller, or shorter tasks like internet browsing.
