This is the classic case of a product that is not even tested for the purpose it is meant. The brush brisstles are so thick and hard that it cannot even grab human hairs let alone the thin fur of cats and dogs. The self cleaning feature is useless as the fur simply slides right between the brisstles and the moving cleaning assembly. The product designer or this seller has probably never seen a cat or dog before. He has made a brush for jute fibres or probably coconut coir, thinking it will also work with pet hairs. This product is really helpful. The dog sits still and rather enjoys it.i earlier had the one with steel bristles which made my dog uncomfortable and also seemed painful.
