Is this the one? It’s solid, all have quirks
Jackery, Bluetti, Ecoflow, Aimtom, Big Blue, All Powers, Yeti, Ninja Batt, Energizer, Bibene/Oukitel, CTechi, Oupes, ITehil. And many moreThe 500wh is definitely the sweet spot for power stationsYou can’t go wrong with any of the brands mentioned so pick one you feel good about and go for itPick your main 3 featuresFor me that’s LifePo4, 100w USB C input, and displaySolar charging goes to EB55 but display sucks and wall charger is loudFast charging - Ecoflow hands down… fast but at what cost long term?Dual Charging-Big Blue Cellpowa. Triple inputBest Value- watch the coupons, price dropsSo the R500 strikes a good balance. Solar input is decent at 85w off a 100w panel, wall wart is not loud, but bulkyFavorite way to charge. The 100 w pd portI don’t have a direct 100w Gan charger so when I am charging either my Ecoflow River or EB55/70 they all have a 100w out only so it charges wellOther power stations that have in/out PD ports can give you headaches since you cant call which direction it wiil go Thats why I like that is also has a dierect 60w usb-c portSo why did I get this? Well I started with the Go Labs R150, then the R300 and both performed flawlessly. I love that all three use 5521 barrels to charge so it’s seamless to power dump to each and plug into my solar panelsSo when this had a 150 coupon it was a no brainer. But with a pricepoint between $400-500 easily worth itAnother underrated feature - if you already have an R300 (or other similar powerstatios) you can use those like an extra battery bank and send power to this Via Usb-c or 5521 barrel

Some issues or defective unit
The media could not be loaded. Does not charge usb c using 100 w rated cable. Problems running my portable fridge while the golabs 300 worked no problems. Any suggestions? Thanks.EDIT: after almost 2 months nobody contected me, I also emailed the vido to their support. Disappointing.

Not 518 Watt Hours
The R500 seems to be well made and has some nice features. However, DC output will stop with 25 to 27% of the battery charge remaining. This is unacceptable for use with a 12v portable fridge and defeats the purpose of 518 watt hours. In reality, it has 389 watt hours. Additionally, when the fridge is plugged in and turned on, the R500 shows 0 watts output. But all online reviews state that my fridge uses 3 watts in standby mode without the compressor running and 3 watts registers on other power generators. To make matters worse, although this unit is defective or does not live up to the claims of 518 watt hours, GOLABS will not pay for the shipping to return the unit after only a few days of use. I do not recommend this unit or the seller.

Excellent product and great customer service
I have several solar powered generators from different companies. My GoLabs is far superior to the others hands down. It responds with precision and unlike the others that cut off you power before they should the GoLabs gives you almost the full charge until the last moment. I had to review some issues with the GoLabs after a year and the customer service was awesome. I really appreciate great reps like Mary who took care of my concerns. Bravo! I look forward to doing business with your great company in the future.

Battery looses power when not in use for only one week!
New Review. ---- The power supply is working great. The issue was with my understanding of how the unit works. The instruction manual is lacking. The company support is great. I would purchase another.Original Review. ------ Purchased a few weeks ago. Charged it up to 100%. Unit sat for 10 days. Went to use it. AC will not work. DC will not work. Power meter says its at 6%. For a brand new fully charged battery backup system this is totally not acceptable.

Does not charge as fast as claimed.
This battery is not terrible by any means, but a big drawback for me is the slower than rated charging speed. It claims to charge at 100 watts, but only makes it to 87 watts. That may not bother most people, however for my specific application the recharge speed is very important to me. It’s unfortunate that it does not charge as fast as claimed, but I may be able to make it work. If not I will have to buy a second battery to make up the difference and if I do I would be purchasing a different brand.

A fault code 03 prevented the unit from charging.
