A brown switch keyboard that with a few tweaks would be so much better
The media could not be loaded. This initially feels like a really solid quality keyboard. There is no flex and it seems well constructed.Compared to a blue switch keyboard there is far less noise from the brown switches. Colour key combinations are easy to change and the pamphlet manual is clear enough. However it is a US layout keyboard, which is what I use normally anyway, so no issue for me. The keys caps are well made but they are slightly too narrow for me and the font makes it very hard to read at a glance. With just a couple of tweaks this would be a really great keyboard at the price but the narrow keys and font let it down for me.

Mid range US layout keyboard
Z-Edge Mechanical Gaming Keyboard Wired USB Gaming Keyboard 104 Keys with Customizable Rainbow Backlit, Anti-Ghosting, Aluminium Plate, Plug & Play, for Gamers and Typists - US LayoutPriced at £39.99 at the time of writing this reviewThis is a good quality, mid range gaming keyboard, It has a good range of features and seems to be of reasonable quality construction yet it doesn't blow you away in terms of performance and quality as other higher end keyboards do, but for the price i think it offers good value for money.features include;Five adjustable preset backlight RGB modes giving a good range of customisation and styling.OUTEMO brown key switches, in my opinion these just dont compare with the red key switches i have become used to using on my other gaming keyboard.Aluminium alloy body, this makes the keyboard feel sturdy and strong, and adds to its looksUS layout keys, i dont know why they're selling a US layout in the UK, doesn't make sense to me

starting to show problems after couple of weeks
UPDATE: after using for a couple of weeks half of the lighting settings have stopped working with the lights being off on those settings nowprevious review below:there is almost no deck flex, I cannot stress how rigid this thing feelsLights are fixed colour but there are many many settingsSwitches are Cherry MX clones and as someone used to MX reds these feel a little firmer but otherwise similarcaps are double shot and good qualityfont is large but the stencil style can be hard to read at a glance so will take some getting used toespecially as its the US layout so no "£"however this is going to be used to chat on Xbox so its unlikely to cause any problemsgood solid feeling keyboard for the price

Has a lot of modes but not fully customizable
Board feels sturdy and well made. Keys are nice and bright. Has a few preset gaming modes and the usual rgb patterns. Sadly you can make custom modes

basic gaming mechanical keyboard
I'm not a keyboard enthusiast by any means but I've owned cheaper and high end mechanical keyboards to be able to compare. For reference, there are three types of switches - linear, tactile, and clicky. Linear is the quietest, tactile in the middle and clicky has distinct sound when pressed. It's a matter of preference really. Gamers prefer linear and tactile. Clicky one's fun but my coworkers said it's a bit irritating during telecons..Anyway, this keyboard has tactile keys and has a very nice feel for productivity and gaming. It looks to be decently made. The multi colored lights look very cool especially at night and helps on seeing the keys clearly. The productivity and media control shortcuts are easily accessed by Fn key and F keys combinations. There's also multiple backlight modes to toggle from which is very nice.No lags so far. It's pretty responsive. Some nitpicks..I just wish there's a built in palm rest. Not a biggie, you can buy those separately for cheap. No dedicated volume control like the other high end boards.Cable is not detachable, also not a biggie.Overall I think this keyboard is solid for gaming and productivity.
