Review The Best American Infographics 2016“The Best American Infographics 2016, edited by Gareth Cook is a beautiful presentation of well over a hundred presentations of information in a multitude of pictorial form. The selection was made primarily on the quality of formatting of the information into graphical form. There is no attempt to do other than display a wide array of imaginative, and in most cases, clear communication of the data.The book is well formatted for its purpose. The graphs are beautifully and clearly presented. It affords hours of pleasure just sitting down and enjoying the wonderful examples of imaginative communication. Yes, one can learn lots of miscellaneous information from this book and that is also lots of fun. But the whole point of the book is a display of imaginative communicative tools. And that it does very well.

Not all are good for educational use, but it's very interesting!

I get my boyfriend the new infographics book every year for Christmas and they do not disappoint. It is very professionally done. Beautiful graphics and quality info. There is a wide range of topics, everyone will be able to find something they are interested in. As always, I am very happy with my purchase. Can’t wait for the next one.

My family has a few books in this series and love them. If you're considering purchasing after having read the description, odds are you will enjoy it. Not all information is particularly useful, but every page is different (content, presentation and source). Softcover, but high quality paper so it's not flimsy. Excellent coffee table book (does not require a huge investment of time) or gift for someone with ADHD and/or an inquiring mind.

I like the idea and the infographics in the book. I love the price and the value.However, here's some things to improve:- A lot of graphics in the book are apparently interactive in the web. You can see from the description and the UI of the graphics. Maybe some people read this book as an art selection of the graphics, but I also see it as an interesting tool, which give me a lot of knowledge I would usually not look into. During the reading I often find myself curious about the detailed content of the graphics, which is hard to present in the print version. So, it would be really nice to include the original link of those graphics, or even better, a barcode of those urls.- Similar to my first point, some of the graphics are lack of legend, which prevent me from understanding better of the information they are trying to present.
