This is a cool blanket, because it works as a cooling blanket as well. It's nice and heavy, very easy to fall asleep under. The blanket is held in the cover with ties, which can be cumbersome. It does slide around a good bit in the cover, as well. But overall, I like it, and I'd recommend it.

I bought this for my husband, but I use it sometimes! I think it stays very cool, and it's a perfect weight. Not too heavy, good size.

I love this! A couple friends have recommended weighted blankets to me in the past, but I hadn't gotten around to it until now. What an experience! It's hard to describe... the best I can explain is that it's oddly calming. There's a "warm" and a "cool" side to the outer cover... nothing magical, but on bare skin the "warm" side is soft/fuzzy and feels warmer and the "cool" side is smooth with a synthetic blend weave that maintains a cooler feel... can't complain about that!As with any purchased fabric item, I washed before use. In this case, I washed the outer cover before using the blanket. The process of detaching and reattaching the ties on the inside to release the weighted inner blanket was straightforward (don't put the weighted part in your washer by accident... it's heavy and could throw things out of balance!). The package insert mostly covers how to detach the inner and the outer, but just pay attention to how the cover was attached to the weighted inner when you go to untie each of the attachment points. My only complaint had to do with the ties... I wish there were a few more of them along all four edges. Nothing is drooping internally, but you have to be deliberate on how you pick up the edges to make sure you have a solid grip on the weighted inner part through the outer layer. Not a deal-breaker, not even a star deduction... you'll get used to it quickly.Whether you're using this as a comforter in the car or in a recliner, or whether you're using it to sleep under, this weighted blanket from Life Comfort will add a new dimension to how you relax. This definitely fits into the "when you know, you know!" category. And, at a 15 pound weight, it's a good introduction to weighted blankets (heavier weights are available, but multiple sources have suggested 15 lbs as a good starting point for those without prior experience). 10 out of 10, would definitely recommend!

Got this as a gift for a friends child with autism and he loves it. In fact, he sleeps with it every day! Such a good purchase.

I love this blanket, it is so comfortable. It fits perfectly inside the duvet without bunching or extra space. I really liked that it t comes with it already tied within the duvet. The duvet has a cooling material on one side and a soft warming material on the other and can be used by itself without the weighted blanket in the warmer months. This is not my first weighted blanket but its by far my favorite. The weight is perfectly distributed and the quality is very good. If this had been my first weighted blanket, it would still be my only weighted blanket. The other two times I went for the cheaper option, which ended up just costing more in the long run.

Got this for my son. He reports that it is comfortable. He is 6'5" (196cm) and he says it isn't quite large enough to completely cover him, but he is pleased with it, anyway. He likes the weight, and says the warmth is just right.

I was looking to replace my old weighted blanket that was a queen size with no removable cover. It feels gross not being able to wash something I use so frequently. I also think a queen size blanket was too big for one person, it always ended up on the floor. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this blanket and the warm/cool sides are an unexpected bonus. The cover washes well on cold, and dried on medium heat. There are 12 ties on the inside that hold the insert totally in place and it’s super easy to reassemble using the “duvet cover trick” after washing. I also love that it has a zipper to close. It’s so soft and comfy.. I sleep with this blanket every night and grab it whenever I watch a movie on the couch. I haven’t had this blanket very long so I can’t yet speak on longevity but so far I would absolutely recommend this weighted blanket. I haven’t found anything this good anywhere else and it’s a great price too.
