The item is absolutely beautiful mine came in one piece.the only thing I have to say is Amazon does not package their shipment vary well. The box was flopping around in the Amazon box. Just glad it showed up in perfect condition. Would buy this product again in a much larger size

If you can get one that is not broken it's really impressive but the balls inside don't seem to like to be banged around in shipping. Don't get me wrong I had to exchange the first one but it was worth it. Looks great in the office and a fun conversation starter. The all black globes make it look better in a professional setting.

I recently purchased this Galileo thermometer and have been very pleased with it. Unlike most on the market, the liquids in this thermometer are all black in color, giving it a sleek, modern appearance which matches my decor perfectly. The tags which show the temperature are made of a white metal and are silver in color. One side of each tag displays the temperature in °F, the other side in °C. It contains 11 bulbs, each 4° F apart from each other. I have tested it by comparison with a calibrated instant-read infrared thermometer and it is accurate.

I got this as a gift to give to my GF for Christmas. It was exactly what I was hoping for. All the bulbs are the same color vs the ones that are multi-colored. She loved it. I tend to give gifts to people that I would love to have myself. I am not ashamed to say that I really want to get one of these for my own house. Maybe I will order one this Christmas!A note: Amazon had to send me a second thermostat because the first one arrived with one of the bulbs broken in the thermostat. All it took was a call to Amazon CS and the replacement one arrived in short order. Amazon CS is top notch!

I love it! My grandpa had one of these growing up and I was obsessed with it because he would never let me play with it or touch it. I REALLY love that all the globes are black compared to the traditional colored one. Makes it easier to put in any space without clashing.

I have purchased many Galileo style thermometers that I gave as gifts. My Galileo thermometer was broken and I bought this Galileo thermometer as a replacement. I thought that all Galileo thermometers have different color globes and was disappointed that this one had all black colored globes. I have purchased a new Galileo with the color globes I'm accustomed to and have yet to decide what to do with the one with black globes. It was my fault for not looking into the description and pictures more thoroughly.

Was a gift for someone who didn’t open it until after the return date. Multiple broken pieces within the water.

This item is a very smart looking ornament, which is also fairly accurate at telling the temperature. I prefer this one with the black globes rather than the multicoloured ones. It was dispatched and delivered very quickly, and well packaged. I'm really happy with my purchase at a reasonable price.
