Knitter's Prideinterchangeable Cords 8" (16" w/tips), Black

Perfect size.

My wife wanted a shorter cord for her Tunisian hooks. These are just the size she wanted and work smoothly as expected for this brand.The labeling in the ad was a little confusing as to how long is the cord vs the cord + hook.Each cord alone is a tad over 8”. The cord plus hook combined are 15.5”.My wife says this is a great length for making large squares. Her squares are 44 stitches wide (Tunisian) and these cords allow plenty of room. Theyre easier to handle and feel more balanced than longer cords, so her hands hurt less.

It was tough to find out if the 16” cord was compatible with all Knitters Pride needles. Several reviews reported different findings. The cord DOES work with all Knitters Pride needles. This cord will not work with other brands. Be sure to tighten the cord with the pin as just twisting the cord on to the needles without securing tightly with the pin will cause the cord to disconnect from the needles mid project. Not fun when that happens. The 16” cord is measured as a full 16 inches once the cord is attached to Knitters Pride 4 1/2 inch needles (combined). The cord alone is not 16 inches. Love my Knitters Pride needles sets. Great value!

I'm a big fan of the Knitter's Price Interchangeable needles but could not find a short cable for making smaller-diameter items, like hats and cowls. These allow me to have the perfect size circle for the projects, without having to acquire multiple fixed-cable needles in assorted sizes, since I already have a variety of tips.

I have other brand cords that are much more pliable, but I bought a knitters pride crochet hook so needed the chord. It does the job, but they are stiffer.

I was in the process of knitting a beanie hat for my daughter when I realized I did not have the right size circular needles.I found these on Amazon and purchased them in 30 seconds.They are great!Teresa D.

They stay in place once tightened. Great for shorter projects that still require a cord, or smaller, center-out Tunisian squares. They fit my Radiance woid hooks perfectly!

I just went to you tube land..figured out this is to short for any real project, but more for a stitch or a project holder....OOPS thanks...it is just a shorter cord for knitting needle extensions was what i found out! I posted a low star in the beginning only because I really had no idea what it was at first, now I know... sorry...
