Got this for my daughter's bday and she loves it. Doesn't sleep in her bed anymore. Only on this right next to her bed, just be sure to have an extra 5 pillows laying around!

In this review, I will be testing out the “Butterfly Craze Kids Floor Pillow Fold Out Lounger” as a camping mattress/pad for my SUV camping setup. My boys and I like to camp, but my body doesn’t like the cold, hard ground or the firmness of the bare cargo area of my SUV. Most camping pads in my price range are not comfortable enough, and I definitely don’t want to deal with a full size mattress in the back of my SUV. As I test and review the “Butterfly Craze Kids Floor Pillow Fold Out Lounger,” I will be looking specifically at the following:Cost- It needed to be reasonably priced (under $30).Cleanliness: Every part of the mattress/pad needed to be machine washable.Storage: I had to be able to store it in my SUV on a permanent basis when not camping, and when transporting it to the campsite, the mattress/pad needed to fold up so that I could store things around it.Winter and Summer Use: I plan on camping in all seasons so the pad has to keep me warm as well as cool.Frugal and Simple: I want to use things that I already own instead of buying more new things that I have to find a place to store.Comfort: I want a good night’s sleep even when camping.I received the Pillow Fold Out Lounger today, and out of the box, I can post some of my initial reactions to it. Of course, I will update my review later after a camping trip.Cost: The price is definitely right on the money. Including taxes, my cost for the product was $28.07.Cleanliness: Out of the box, I took 5 King sized pillows and placed them in the five king sized pillow cases that have been sewn together. This is a simple but effective design. The tag says that the Pillow Floor Lounger can be washed and dried according to the included directions. Of course, the pillows I use in it can be cleaned at home as well.Storage: When not in use, the Pillow Floor Lounger can be folded up and stored neatly in my SUV. While testing it out at home with goose down pillows, I discovered that I could probably fold and compress it to a smaller size. Bungee cords would probably hold it flat and tight during transportation.Winter and Summer Use: THIS WILL BE REVIEWED AFTER CAMPING TRIP.Frugal and Simple: I already own enough king sized pillows to fill all five pillow cases in the Pillow Floor Lounger, so beyond buying the Pillow Floor Lounger, I already own and use daily everything that it requires to use as a mattress/pad. When I get ready to go camping, all I will need to do is grab the pillows off my bed, stuff them in the Pillow Floor, and then take it to the SUV. Simple and it uses things I already have. (no new stuff to buy). In addition as my pillows wear out, I can easily replace individual pillows as needed. Sounds frugal enough.Comfort: I placed it at home on a concrete floor using goose down pillows and tried it out. My initial reaction: It’s pretty comfortable! Of course, I will update this review when I get it out on a camping trip and I’ve spent a Southern summer night on it. I will include some pictures of my setup as well during the camping trip.This would not work for most camping situations where there is a chance of it getting wet (tent camping on ground for instance). It definitely would not work for backpack camping since five pillow is a lot of weight. I have high expectations that this will work for those sleeping inside of cars or SUVs though. I will update soon, and if my night goes well, I will consider ordering another one for one of my children to try out also so I can give you their review as well. Most likely, their reduced weight will probably mean even a better night’s sleep.

Kids love their pillow beds

Material is super soft. However unless you use the exact same size and thickness of pillows it's not smooth to lay on. I used standard pillows but they weren't all the same thickness and it was a little lumpy feeling when laying on. But works great for kids who love being on the floor or as a spare cot for sleep overs!

This is a great pillow cover. Adding the pillows does increase the price, but I just found the most inexpensive ones I could find and they work great, making it very comfortable.The pattern is really cute and soft, however it works more as a floor pillow, or a sleeping mat. Unfortunately, propping it up like a chair doesn't exactly work as noted in the pictures, unless you prop it up against a wall.

It's overpriced but I like itYou pay $35-40 but then have to buy pillows and if you want this to be extra comfy, the dollar store pillows won't workI paid another$30 on pillows so $65-$70 was not what I was looking to spend

We had a lot of folks over for thanksgiving holiday. My son (13 years old) slept on this on the floor. He said it was good for the first couple of days, but preferred his bed after that. So, it is nice for a temporary sleep over.

It's just a 5 pillow pillow case which I feel is overpriced. The pictures are definitely misleading but if you carefully read the description it does say pillow case only. I was going to return but since I had extra pillows around I decided to keep it and my kids actually like it. The fluffier the pillow the better.

Excellent for sleepovers. Particularly great for travelling. Works like a soft comfy bed for kids.

This was a gift. It was not at all clear the pillows were not included. At least not on the site I checked. Arrived 2 days before Christmas. Not enough time to buy pillows. Thought it very pricey for a long piece of material.
