Lectio Divina for Little Ones (Little Ones Series)

I love Kimberly Fries books for use in our classrooms. The bright colors and simple way of teaching the children about their faith is such an asset to our Faith Formation Classes. I recommend them to families as well to use with teaching your children their Catholic Faith at the same time strengthening your own faith.

This book was disappointing. The content was ok, but I don't think there was a single illustration in this book. I'm not sure how a supposed book "for little ones" is supposed to hold the interest of a little one without pictures. It's best suited for a slightly older child, although the fact that it is labeled "for little ones" may then be a little off-putting for them.

Good

This is a really well done Lectio for kids, putting the steps into language and context that a child can grasp. My eldest is a voracious reader, and able to use this as a guide on his own. For the other two it's a companion as we read scripture to them. Really an excellent guide.
