Fuchsia Breathable Wedding Dress Gown Garment Bag - Extra Long with 10" Gusset

I paid for my wedding dress 6 months in advance and didn't want it sitting in the dress shop. Knowing my luck, a flood would destroy the shop and my dress. So I paid for it and took it home. Unfortunately, my gown shop didn't give me a garment bag when I picked it up, but that was ok because I find this beautiful pink beauty. I am a unique girl, why would I want a typical wedding dress garment bag. The material is breathable, which means it has tiny holes in it. It is not a solid piece of fabric in that sense. It is not plastic or water proof. I wanted something to protect my dress while it sits in a closet until 9/2012. After the wedding when I decide to store it, then I will look for a more permanent bag. My dress has a 3 foot train and ruffles on the side cascading from my dropped waist to the floor. Overall an A line figure. I wouldn't say cupcake or ball gown poofy, because that is not my dress at all. This poof was enough to make my mother nervous it wouldn't fit in the bag. It fits absolutely perfect. I am a short one at 5'3" so there is plenty of room at the bottom for a taller dress. The top hole where the hanger fits through it made of a durable plastic so this bag was meant to for some rough handling, but not much. It fit the bill for me color and all. Love it.

The picture is a bit deceiving. The bag doesn't look like the picture. It has a dull finish and is like many posters have stated has a cheap recyclable cloth bag feel to it. I was disappointed when I opened it. I almost sent it back but decided to use it for my bridesmaid dress in my friends wedding instead of my wedding gown! I ended up giving it away to another bridesmaid at the wedding.

I ordered this bag to put a formal gown into for my 30th b-day party and the bag was a hit. I ordered 2 extra for a friend of mines and my sister and they too absolutely loved it. I wasn't sure of the quality nor fit but they both worked out so well. It's a really great bag. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to purchase a good garment bag with a cute punch.

The picture of the bag is not accurate to what was received. I expected it to be a more rigid fabric, but it is similar to the fabric of a reusable grocery bag. My wedding dress fits in it!

I bought this to store my wedding dress, I wanted to make sure it was breathable to preserve the integrity of the fabric and so far everything is looking good. It was long enough for the dress but my cathedral veil bunches at the bottom.

Love the color and length and size but it has torn already so will have to purchase another but most likely won't be this one.

It's pink not magenta didn't look like picture.

It's very thin and see-thru. Thought it would have been more sturdy.
