The clock itself is really nicely designed, especially the brass seconds hand.BUT this is bizarrely loud, certainly not silent as you can clearly hear it across the room. The noise is also on/off and sounds more as a rattle not a "very quiet whirring" - really quite distracting. (The clock it replaced was totally silent and had a sweeping seconds hand so it can be done!)I wouldn't be able to use this a bedside clock

Fortunately I bought this for the lounge. It isn't silent - it makes a fast whirring sound not a tick, so not as annoying as some clocks and I can tolerate it in the day time, but it does slightly masquerade as a water leak. I couldn't sleep next to it.I like the look - dial is clear to read from a distance, fairly stylish. There's nothing covering the batteries at the back so not a great rear view - one for a shelf not a side table.I'd buy a different one if replacing it.

Pretty much a cheap version of Newgate clocks. I wouldn’t buy again and the hands aren’t luminous which would be an advantage being it suppose to be an alarm clock.

Poor quality. Battery slot wrong size for AA battery. No back on the clock. Dial to set clock faulty and does not work. Alarm goes off at the wrong time (15 minutes early) when set.

Flimsy alarm on/off switch. Can’t see it lasting long as is flimsy and too close to other controls. Dials to move the clock arms fall off. There is No light. No luminous dial so you can’t see it at night ! . No snooze feature. What a shame something that looks so good is so impracticable.

Se ha ROTO A LOS 28 DIAS. La aguja que marca la hora se ha descolgado, de manera que marca siempre las 6. Tardó en llegar 2 meses y en menos de un mes no vale para nada. NO ME DEJA NI DEVOLVERLO. A los 20 días acaba el plazo. UN AUTÉNTICO DESASTRE DE COMPRA

Ursprünglich war das Angebot ansprechend, doch die Bilder haben getäuscht.. Das Design an sich ist ansprechend, doch der Wecker erschien fragil, keine hintere Blende für die Batterie vorhanden. Bedienung sehr unkomfortabel. Artikel wurde zurück geschickt.

Eher "Maximum Tick". Unfassbar laut das Teil, und ich bin nun wirklich nicht geräuschempfindlich.
