I bought this for £10 for my six year old son as a handy game for him to play with, not actually expecting greatness from it — we’ve got another cheap little handheld console with 8 bit games on it, but none of them are ‘real’ games, ie, the games on the other console are just games which have been written for the purposes of bunging them on a cheap little console.So imagine my surprise when I charged this and turned it on to see a list of games I recognised from the 1980s, and imagine how impressed I was to see not only were they titles from the 1980s, but actually they even appear to be the original ROMs of those games running on what I assume is a proper emulator such as MAME!Donkey Kong, the Mario Suite, Defender, Dig Dug, Arkanoid, Pac Man (and the rarely seen in real life, Pac Land), and Galaxians and Galaga are there; there are also ports of 8 bit computer games from the 1980s such as Spy vs Spy and Paperboy on it. If anything rather than being disappointed about it being a disappointment I’m more disappointed about having seen a load of games I didn’t expect in the first place that there aren’t also other classics I’d have wanted.With 400 games said to be on it, there are obviously quite a lot of games I’ve never heard of, which I expect most of which are duff ones made up just for the console itself, but to be honest as far as I’m concerned it’s worth the tenner for me just for the games I’ve listed above, and I didn’t even buy it for me.For the person who’s complaining about having to press one button at the front page every time to select English rather than Chinese, I would politely suggest get over yourself.

Not very good. Put it on charge for hours. Wouldn't run on battery. First game in the list wouldn't move off the introduction screen. Every time you want to leave a game. It defaults back to the language choice screen and you have to go through the setup all over again.

I would give 0 stars if possible. The device has been on charge for 5 hours and when I powered it on, all I got was a white screen so the item is useless.
