I use for my wigs
To hide the knots. Works great and cheaper than grid tape.

nice product but doesn't mention that it is perforated in sections
So far I really like this silicone scar sheet. My scar is about 8" long though and the description doesn't mention that the roll is perforated in 2" sections, even though you can cut it anywhere. It isn't a huge deal but since it is reusable and I have been putting it on for some hours each day and then taking it off, it starts to separate at those perforations rather being in one continuous strip. Since my scar is on the back of my leg it does make it a little more difficult to continue to reuse/reapply

It works
I’ve used this on a big scar in my bottom and it did make the scar lighter but it did not fully get rid of my scar but at least it’s not as noticeable like before.

Amazing But Takes Time
I've been using a silicone bandage on a nasty 2 year old knee replacement scar . There is a noticeable improvement over the last 6 months. However, you have to consistently wear the bandage every day and night. The advantage of this product is that it can be cut to fit the scars. This product is worth a try, but be patient.

Would be perfect if it didn’t have perforations!
This is a roll that is 1.6” x 120”.First, I’ll say the one complaint I have about this tape - it has perforations. They are 2” in size. So, every 2” there’s a perforation. It didn’t state that anywhere in the product info. I made sure to look carefully because I specifically wanted silicone scar tape that did not have perforations. I’d gotten other silicone scar tape in the past and had it split easily where the perforations were, so I wanted it without them! I looked carefully, it didn’t say anything about perforations. It actually just talked about cutting to the size you want. So, I figured it didn’t have perforations. But, of course, it does. I’d rather cut off what I need. It’s nice if you only need the 2”, just easily rip off what you need without getting scissors. But, if you need more than the 2”, then you’re going to have a perforated area that will split easier and make it so you can’t wear the tape as long as you could if it didn’t have a perforation through it. So, just know it does have perforations. Luckily, this tape is a good thickness, so it doesn’t split at the perforation as easily as other tapes I’ve had that were thinner and split too easy. So, they still last decent even with the perforation. It is waterproof. You can wash your hands, bath, shower, etc. while wearing it and it stays stuck really well (depending how long you’ve been wearing it). It says it is durable for up to 7-10 days. I definitely agree with that. But, it also depends on what you’ve been doing. For example, if you have been wearing one for 6-7 days and take baths all the time, it will probably start to lift at that point (not necessarily though). But, once it dries, it usually sticks down again just fine and will work for another day or so. But, if for example, you’ve been wearing one for 6-7 days and have just been showering, it still stays stuck down really well.It is flexible for the most part, but it has its limits. I find it starts to lift quicker when it’s in an area that moves a lot (knee, wrist, elbow, etc.). The smaller the piece, the more it lifts and the quicker it lifts. If I’m putting it in an area like that, I’ll usually put a bigger piece on than I need so it goes across the area more and isn’t right on the parts that bend (I hope that makes sense!). That has worked much better for me and led to the sheet lasting longer in those areas! So, that’s why I think it’s flexible for the most part.It is breathable. It feels comfortable on. It really doesn’t feel like anything on. I forget that I’ve applied them! My boyfriend thought the results were so amazing he started using them too. I’m pale as can be, he naturally is tanner than me. When I wear one, you can see it on me since I’m so pale and the silicone scar tape is a kind of nude color. When my boyfriend puts one on, the color just disappears into his skin so you can’t even see it! The only time I’ll notice it is when light hits it and it reflects off the top of it!To use these, you have to wait until the skin heals and there is no bleeding, oozing, scabs, etc. It can’t be used on wounds like it is a bandaid. It needs to be completely healed! If you’re using it on a post-surgical scar, the info says you can start using it 1-2 weeks after stitches are removed. If you’re using it in an existing scar, you can start using it immediately (as long as the skin is fully healed). You can use this on any type of scars, whether it’s a brand new scar or a really old scar. Of course, the older the scar, the longer it’ll take. It says that it can recover the skin in as little as 4-8 weeks. I find it takes longer than that with older scars. The key with silicone scar tape is TIME AND CONSISTENCY! You have to wear it regularly for long periods. I put one on and leave it on until it starts lifting and won’t stay stuck down well. Then I’ll take it off, wash and dry the area (I just like to do that since it’s been covered for a week or so), and put a new one on and start all over.I used the tape on a scar that was pretty dark reddish brown looking and and kind of like went into the skin so there was like an indent in the area (the scar wasn’t lifted). I used the tape regularly on that and noticed a difference after just 2 weeks. It wasn’t a huge difference but the color of it had changed to a light pink rather than the dark reddish brown looking color it was before. Now that I’ve been using it regularly on the scar for about 2 1/2 months, the area looks like it’s more even, not as indented, and the color has reduced so much I barely notice it!I’ve used it on newer scars that weren’t bad, but figured why not?! Whenever I get a pimple, it always leaves behind a kind of red dot. It’s not like an indentation. It’s just a red dot completely even with the skin, but it’s like scar tissue because nothing wants to stick to it - like foundation, concealer, etc. never want to stay on it. So, I cut a few really small pieces of this scar tape and put it over the couple newer red dots I had, and it fixed those up within a week! I also had some old acne scars - old red dots and some indented scars from when I used to pick at my pimples (never do that!). I cut some small pieces for those areas and used it on there and after a few weeks the red dots are almost completely gone and the indents are lessened! I’m going to continue using them to get them to go away completely!I definitely recommend this silicone scar tape! It works great! I’ve tried a few different brands of silicone scar tape. This is one of the better ones. It’s not too thin or thick and it works well. I just wish it didn’t have perforations. It would be 5 stars if it didn’t have the perforations (or if it had at least stated clearly it had them).
