I had two specific requirements. I have stand-alone J-box in my driveway - not flush with a wall. So I needed a fixture that could sealed with J-box. Secondly the J-box is only 1 ft above the ground, so I needed something that threw light to the front and not just down.I looked at many wall packs. Most of them are designed to be mounted 8 to 10 ft above ground as they through light down (or at 45 degrees).Secondly, most wall pack need a J-box that is flush with the wall so you actually create a water tight seal around the wall and not the J-box. Nice outdoor, dusk to dawn light. Installed on overhang over the front door and works great. It is unobtrusive, very low energy use, and quite bright. No more fumbling to unlock the door. Would also be great as a security or yard light.

These lights are unreliable. Bought two, and had to figure out the multiple dipswitch settings just to get the light to turn on. One of them stopped working after less than 2 months. The integral LED should last 60,000 hours, but the light won't turn on after about 10 hours of use.

This fixture turned into a junk purchase. The fixture emits a omnipresent, ballast type of, deep humming sound when turned on. This is unacceptable ..... and none of the other LED fixtures I have installed emit any noise. The design also requires disassembly of the fixture into three parts and then wiring the fixture deep into it's innards as no installed wiring tails are provided that exit the fixture. Amazon needs to stop sales of this fixture or cure the ballast noise.

Great light, using it on front porch and garage.

My electrician installed this light on the ceiling at the front entry to my small apartment building with the sensor facing out. Light does stay on a low glow during the day as it is installed in a covered space and I expected this would happen. Provides good lighting when it gets dark out. The first day it was installed I noticed a lot of small bugs, the ones that tend to like light, were all over the cover. After a closer look I found that they were inside the cover. Not sure how they got in there and will need to keep an eye on it to see if it needs to be cleaned out frequently. Again this may be more of a problem because it is mounted on a ceiling not a wall. Overall I am very happy with this light.

Works well. Mounted on the ceiling outside and put some silicone caulk around the base. Hard to find a dusk to dawn LED outdoor rated light that is 5000k and ceiling mountable. Nice O-Ring for the removable cover/difuser. Would be nice if the mounting holes were pre-drilled, but the common handyman can make do. No ground as it is a plastic housing. The light sensor documentation can come across confusing. The dip switches are to change the light level that triggers this light to come on. The default should be Switch 5 set to 1 and the rest to 0. It does not ship in this config however. If you start with switch 5 and the light comes on too early, set switch 6 to 1 and the rest to 0. If the light comes on later than expected, set switch 4 to 1 and the rest to 0. This will all depend where you mount and levels of natural and ambient light. Wish there was a way to adjust brightness but there is not.
