This is a makeup remover that is clear in color That has a gel-like consistency. There is a light scent to the product but it doesn't linger or stay on your face after use. The product comes in a 195 mL (6.59 oz) blue bottle with a pump.ConsI have noticed that it requires at least 2 pumps to clear the face of any light makeup. I have not used this product to remove heavy makeup but I assume it will need 4-5 pumps. In terms of uses of pumps, I feel that this is a pricy item and there are cheaper alternatives available.ProsI love how this product comes in a pump. It is so easy and clean to use. The pump can be closed and opened as many times as you want so it will not leak if you are traveling with it. Lastly, I love how this product leaves my skin feeling refreshed and plump.Would definitely recommend this product to friends!

Good product for removing makeup...but not an actual face wash. I find it not enough to just remove makeup. Need to follow up withregular face wash...but I like using both products to get the job done.

There are no directions with this product. I am not certain how to apply it and if it is safe around the eyes.

I was excited to try La Roche-Posay Micellar Water Gel Make-up remover. I had previously read an article about Micellar water being the beauty secret of French women, who use it as a makeup remover/cleanser. La Roche-Posay Michellar water is a gel. It goes on the cotton ball thick like a gel and glides smoothly on my face. I have rosacea, so my skin can be sensitive. The first night I used the Michellar water, my rosacea flared up a bit immediately after using it. But I think my skin was just extra sensitive that winter day, because I haven't had any issues since. I normally have to use a few pumps of the gel to get coverage of my entire face. You can see the makeup come off on the cotton pad. The gel is very soothing on the skin. It doesn't dry out my skin like some face washes do. It does have a faint perfume scent, that I'd describe as old ladyish. I'm not a fan of the scent. But it is faint and goes away pretty quickly. In the article I had read, the woman used a cotton ball with the Micellar water on it to remove make-up. Then she took a clean cotton ball and used the Micellar water again as a moisturizer. The instructions just say, "apply to a wet face. No rinsing." So it makes no mention of also using it as a moisturizer. I have very dry skin in the winter, so I have still been using a separate moisturizer.I normally keep some face wipes in the house for days when I'd be too lazy to wash my face. I'd use them despite having read they just spread the make up and dirt around your face. I don't think I'll go back to face wipes after using the Michellar water. It's just as convenient as a face wipe, but not as drying to my skin. I'd highly recommend the Michellar water.

This does not remove mascara . I'm not sure what the heck it does but it's blue

Absolutely love this Micellar Water gel - used to remove make-up and also to generally cleanse the face in the morning. Its good to find a reliable cleanser that tackles grime and oil - my skin is both oily and sensitive - without producing redness or that nasty tight feeling that remain after using other products. I always double-cleanse anyway using other La Roche-Posay products and/or Skin-tifique. Works well. Happy customer.

I have very sensitive, rosacea prone skin, I do wear make up and this makes it very easy to remove and keeps my skin relatively calm.

I don't wear too much make up, only some mascara on my eyelashes. However, after I apply this product and rinse it off, some black rings will be left underneath my eyes. Was expecting proper cleansing gel, disappointed...

Really disappointed, does not remove makeup at all. Even when you rinse your face multiple times. Completely waste of money. I believe this may be good if you have sensitive and oily skin however if you are buying it with the purpose of removing your makeup I would suggest that makeup wipes do much better than this product.
