Authentic Mexican Falsa Blanket Hand Woven (Beige)

Bought two of these for our new camper. They wash well and are not dog hair magnets like the cheap fleece blankets.

It was just the right size for my truck seat bottom.

Very nice thick and soft blanket; feels good and looks nice in my living room. Great quality for the $.

Exactly what I ordered

I got this blanket to use around the house to cover my couch, to put on my lap when reading, to use as a yoga bolster and to use for sunbathing outside. I washed it when it got here. It’s ok, not scratchy, except there’s little bits of scratchy wood in a bunch of spots around it. It also has a few spots where the weaving is pretty loose and it’s not consistent throughout. I’m picking out the wood bits and am hopeful that once I’ve found them all and washed it a few times, as long as it doesn’t unravel, it will be pretty good for my intended uses. I didn’t expect it to be super soft but I did expect it would be cotton and not have a bunch of sharp stuff mixed into the yarn.Update: There's a lot of scratchy things and wood bits in it, and I keep finding them! I can't stop myself from picking them out, so now the blanket is really ratty-looking, and I still keep finding more. This blanket is not gonna last, folks. I wish the yarn was higher quality and didn't have a bunch of trash mixed in. I reduced my rating to 2 stars because maybe some other hypothetical person might not be bothered by this, but for me, this blanket is not long for this world.

Pros: Thick/heavy and pretty.. Cons: There are a lot of white fuzzies that are left behind, even after a wash. Don’t use it if you’re wearing black unless you have a lent roller. Not very soft.

I have ordered these blankets before and they were great. This last order was so thin and thread snagged and pulled where weave gathered. So disappointed.
