These are my very favorite boots and I am not normally a heeled boots kind of cow gal. These are so comfortable and well made that I had to share though.I have two pairs of Dan Post boots, these black Maria boots and a Caramel brown pair. I love them both, but these I wear literally all the time and they are very durable (and I am Very hard on my boots!) These are mo go to boots for wearing back home in the country, a night out with a little black dress, bus casual with dress pants and a blouss, or just low key with jeans and a t shirt. They are very flattering, stylish, thick in material, hit just the right spot on my calves, and high quality boots with versatility. You really can't go wrong with these! (I like playing the Santana song "Maria" sometimes when I wear they. Lol.)

These boots are gorgeous!!! They are a bit small and the opening is small for my calves and arch. I took them to the local boot shop and they stretched them without any issues. It took about a week but it was worth the wait. Did I say they are gorgeous? The store wants to carry them and other people who have seen them love them. It is so hard to find just the right pair of solid black boots especially with the right heel and toe. These have clean lines and they are sooooo comfortable. I wore them all day without any issues. Sooooooo clad I found them!

I typically wear a 10 and have a larger than average calf. The 10 is very slightly large on me and the calf was tight enough I'm stretching them out. But I'm not returning these because they are beautiful, soft and a great value for such a nice boot. I ordered 5 boots; 3 Luchesse, this one and a Nocona Ostrich. To my surprise I'm sending the two more expensive ones back because they didn't fit good enough (1 Luchesse and the Nocona). I haven't worn them in public yet, but I have no doubt I will get compliments as another reviewer stated.UPDATE - Originally rated them a 5 star until wearing. I'm not hard on my shoes. I wore these for 4 hours at my desk job and the finish on both tips peeled off.

LOVE these boots, they are beautiful but run small. I am a 7.5-8 but always get 8 in boots. I could barely get my foot in and it took me forever to get it off. I will be returning for a bigger size, just trying to decide if I should do the 8.5 or 9!

These boots are great! they are pretty, and comfortable. The heel is a little higher than what i am used to but not too much, so it was easy to get accustomed to them. I ordered the same size i usually wear in regular street shoes and they fit perfectly, with a light boot sock.

The shoe fits true to size. The heel fits snug and supportive. I did not get a chance to wear them though. Unfortunately, I had to return these boots because the support across the top of the toe showed through the leather when I had the boots on. It is not smooth across the top of the boot, you can see the squared structure plainly (when on). In the past, I had purchased a different style of Dan Post boots and had the same thing occur. I took the chance and did exchange that style to try once again. Fortunately, the exchanged pair did not have the same issue. The leather was smooth like it should be across the toe. It may be that this pair of boots was just made wrong. Kinda hit or miss...I am glad Amazon is so appeasing to allow me the exchange and return of the flawed boots at not extra cost.

I tried these on in a store then ordered them so knew my size, I'd say I'm usually a 7 in cowboy boots (sometimes a 7.5 but only because I can't get my very high instep into most boots so I buy big for that reason). My daughter recommended Dan Posts for comfort, she wasn't wrong! These are my comfiest cowboy boot! The perfect "dress them up, dress them down, and go with anything" boots.I love that the heel is just a little higher but still so comfortable and I think they look really neat, and pretty sharp. Now I'm kind of wishing all my boots were Dan Post! To me they look and feel better made for the same money as some other boots I tried. I really love them!

Narrow fit definitely size up one size for wider foot

These arrived quick and are very nice looking boots. Need to be close to appreciate the stitching but that’s what you get with black boots. Size up for sure. We had to size up and exchange my wife’s pair and then they went up another $70 for a 1/2 size larger…so that sucked.

I absolutely love these boots. They are comfortable despite the fact that i have bunions! I had to exchange them for a smaller size but totally worth it!

I don’t think these boots are real, the toe was SO narrow and the boots smelt like factory plastic. Compared to my real boots they looked terrible.

Purchased my standard size - size 7 and I couldn’t even get my heel into the boot itself. Just received a size 8 and they’re great- they’re slightly big as I’m usually a 7 but they are very comfy!! Beautiful boots
