Very soft and comfortable. I knew that the waist would most likely be too big but knew the upper thigh would be tighter. I'm still happy with them but probably would've gone down in size. No compression with these. Great dance shorts and good quality for the price. For reference: waist 27in, hips 30.75in, height 5'4", weight 129 lbs.
