This is not a cheap shovel it’s heavy duty !! And the Ax is very high quality, very sharp too.Top notch handles too. The little saw that fits where the Ax fits into is very nice attention to the set.The case with it comes in is nice and compact !Would highly recommended this to anyone!

Everything in the box was top notch quality. I was very impressed with how well everything connected together and how sharp the ax and shovel were. I have had other shovels and survival kits and this one is worth the money.

This is an updated review from original. Product had been updated and was different then expected. I had made several attempts to contact EST with no luck. I left a lower rating and was immediately contacted by EST. They informed me that they do not always get international messages on Amazon. They were very quick to offer a replacement. I am very happy with my interaction and they seem to stand behind their product.My original rating was based on very limited trial and such was lower. I have since been using it on all my camping trips and it is definitely excellent quality. The unit feels solid put together and during use. The axe works well and you can actually split wood with it. The included case is excellent and attaches to my pack. It has room to hold all the accessories and has room to add extra handle lengths for future. Very compact for all that is included. My buddy is retired military and he was very impressed with the kit. I would highly recommend this shovel kit and it is permanently included in my camp kit.
