AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (SAA-C02) Cert Guide (Certification Guide) 1st Edition

I am currently on page 472 of this book. I have read a major portion of all of the AWS Associate Architect books published since 2018 and have taken a few classes. Everything I have read prior to this book covers the definitions, concepts, and procedures (labs). The terms least cost, most secure, and best performing are hardly even found in any of these materials until I read THIS BOOK. Based on all those other materials, I had little chance of passing the test based on scenerio questions covering least cost, most secure, and best performing from material in books and classes that cover the definitions, concepts, and procedures. I could not bridge the gap between definitions, concepts, and procedures to least cost, most secure, and best performing. However, after going through this book, even though it covers the old test, 90% of the material is the same as the old test on the C03 test, I feel I have a strong chance to pass this test soon. Mark Wilkins, thank you for writing this book. You rock man!!! For ALL THOSE WHO WRITE BOOKS FOR SCENERIO BASED CERTIFICATION EXAMS. PLEASE LOOK AT HOW THIS BOOK IS WRITTEN. Use these methods to write your books regardless if it is for AWS, Microsoft, Comptia, Google, VMWare, etc. Please stop just covering the the definitions, concepts, and procedures. For example, burting: I read over 3000 pages of SAA-C0X books, dozens of hours of classes, hundreds of pages of AWS reading on AWS's website. NERVER HEARD OF BURSTING UNTIL I READ THIS BOOK. Put some effort into the topics that help with scenerios actually covered on the exam. There are a few of us who actually do work in IT and do study for a couple of hours a day. We want materials like this that actually prepare us for scenerio questions. We want to pass the test, get the job, do the job, and kick butt in the new job making our employers happy and us a lot of money. Brain dumps could get us passed the test, but they do not help us with technical interviews or in doing the job. Yes, I can cheat and rip off my next employer...but do not do that. We should have experience in AWS before taking the test, but can't hired until we pass the test..same chicken and egg problem. We need to actually learn the stuff. PLEASE LOOK AT THIS BOOK. WRITE BOOKS THAT HELP WITH SCENERIOS. I am NOT A NEWB"Y. I have been working in IT for over 29 years and as a Sys Admin since 1996!!! If I have not passed the test by May 7, I will be buying it. If I pass the test, take this as an endorsement for a book not yet published!!!

I took and pass the exam on August 28. Besides this book, I speed read the AWS documentation and FAQs. I didn't bother purchasing practice tests because that's not how I roll. Anyway, I look forward to taking the newer version for fun.
