I don't usually leave product reviews for my Amazon purchases but, I was immediately very impressed with the quality of this wooden pet feeder. So much so that I immediately ordered another for my girlfriend's house. I'd narrowed my choices down to two good looking and well-rated elevated feeders - this one of wood and another of wrought iron. The price difference between the two was pretty significant (3x) and, I know, you sometimes get what you pay for. But, I crossed my fingers and ordered this one based on the percentage of five star Amazon reviews and (just as importantly) the very low number of negative reviews. When even the grumpiest customers can't find something to complain about, that really tells you something.Well, I didn't make an "unwrapping video" but, maybe I should have. This thing comes about as well boxed as my home audio speakers did! Lot's of protective Styrofoam and double boxed! You can tell immediately that these people take their product pretty seriously. The piece itself is well made, sturdy and nicely stained. I couldn't be happier. Angie, my Border Collie, seems very happy with her present and the girlfriend was very pleased as well! All good!

Great Packaging. Nothing dented, cracked, chipped, or scratched.Easily assembled. Took about 5 minutes to put together. There was some synthetic fibers on it which had me worried so I swiffered it to remove them.I used the ceramic bowls that I already had and my fur buddy immediately finished off the remainder of his food.One slight complaint is that after placing it on the wood floor, I realized it’s not 100% leveled so wobbles slightly. I place a towel under it and it stopped so if you don’t have a mat or something that may annoy you.

We love the idea of an elevated dog bowl for our 70lbs chow chow mix. This looks great and we were really excited to order it. We received it and one of the bowls had a long crack down the side. Obviously can’t use that bowl for water. I contacted the seller and they sent us a complete replacement set (awesome!) however one of those bowls had a crack too!! While waiting for our replacement we used the original bowls... the single cracked bowl now has to cracks. Both cracks are rusting which can’t be good for our dog. I wish these were better material suitable for everyday use like stainless steel.

Does what it's supposed to do well. My dog, however, is still able to push her food out over the lip of the bowl and either onto the floor or into her water. This was what we bought to deter this. As an elevated bowl, it's a good height for our tall beagle, and holds the right amount of food and water.Update 7/28/17: downgraded by 2 stars. Not 2 months after we started using this, one of the bowls cracked!!

I really like this feeding station, it looks very nice. A word of caution : be sure to have MM size phillips screwdriver for assembly. I have assembled many many items, and found the assembly of this a bit cumbersome. The directions are pictures only, very tiny print size, so have your glasses ready if you wear them. I don't have power tools, so hand assembly it was. EASY? as others stated? wellllllllll..... What is cumbersome is the screwing in of the main assembly screws, some of the holes are not adequately drilled enough so it makes screwing in so it is flush, VERY awkward. What I did, was scrwew them as best I could, leave them sit for awhile, then return to it; that seemed to work as I got them to be flush. Hence the reason for 4 stars; and for a defective bowl. I emailed the seller right away, who responded promptly, and has sent out replacement bowl. I am very pleased with this. The assembly might be better if an appropriate tool came with it. Overall I am very happy with it, as is my dog! And seller is excellent! I was NOT paid anything to write this review.

My veterinarian recommended that I elevated my little guys food dishes. He is a yorkie-poo, 13lbs, about 8 or 9 inches tall and this is the perfect height. This stands a little over 6 in tall. I was unsure if I wanted to pay the $30ish or get a cheaper ones. I'm so glad I did. Although I wanted something that looked nice, the most important was it a height and sturdy. My guy is 14 years old, so his balance is not good and he runs into or stumbles all the time. I wanted to make sure that this could stand up to this. Its met all expectations, it stands sturdy, I feel its the perfect height and it looks incredible. The bowls are a good size. As for how long it lasts, etc I will have to update later since I just received it a couple days ago. Definitely recommend!

Very easy to put together. The only problem I noticed right away when I fed my dog, is that the bowl just sits in the hole, and when my dog licked the side of the bowl it would rotate around and bump up and down and make lots of noise, and I would think would be frustrating for the dog because it kept rotating around when she was trying to lick the food off the bowl. I cut a piece of foam and duct taped it to the rim of the cut out circle so the bowl sits in the hole more snugly. Just wish it was designed with a piece of foam or tubing already in place.

I love this piece for my boys! One of my boys is almost blind now and was walking into everything always tipping over his water : food bowls so this was the perfect solution! The only down fall is the color, which I love, collects every thing so I’m constantly cleansing it off! But it’s worth it! I love this piece and would defiantly recommend it!
