I have had this for over a year now since last autumn and I'll admit I wasn't expecting it to live up to its claims or maybe just wasn't expecting too much in general but I was wrong, it's cosy, snug, soft and most importantly very warm, I spent most of my time in a cold room last year and this got me through some very cold nights. The warmth as soon as you put it on is immediate and lasting as long as you wear it. Comparable to when you get into bed on a cold night, but for me with the Softy I feel the warmth right away.I'm 5'2" and its length reaches half way between my knees and ankles, so really good for tucking your legs and feet underneath as you cosy up. It's so warm and snug I didn't wear it over the spring and summer months of course and my cat essentially made it her own during that time, she loves it. If a cat makes it her own (as fussy as we know they can be) then I think that says it all. I've tried to regain it back during the start of these cold autumn months but she loves it so much that I haven't had the heart to take it away and decided to order a second one, this time in pink, not sure if it's just me but this second pink Big Softy feels softer than the first black one I bought, I may be wrong but just something I think I observed upon first wearing it. With the cost of living at the moment going up and bills becoming on the more expensive side these really are suitable for the months ahead and keeping the heat off as much as possible if needed.Suitable for outdoor use too, though it would be nice for this kind of use if the wrist cuffs extended out to the hands and fingers, kind of live a glove keeping them warm and exposing the tips of the fingers to enable you to carry on doing things. The sleeves are roomy though so there's enough room to simply bring your hands up inside the sleeves. The hood is spacious too with plenty of room, also.I've often fallen asleep in them they're just so comfy. Overall I love them and would highly recommend, thinking I may possibly buy more as gifts too.

Absolutely love this. So soft, cosy and exterior warm. Really good quality, love the double layer makes it really thick and warm. Really like the colour too.

This is beyond dought the best, softest and warmest hoodie blanket I've had. It is so good that my daughter is always nicking it instead of wearing her own inferior one. Needless to say she will be getting her own Big Softy, so this big softy can start wearing mine!

It’s lovely. Big, soft and warm. I like that it has a zip, not that you need it to get it over your head, but to unzip to cool you off! It’s warm and very snuggly. Washes very well and dries quickly. Third of the price of a well known make so great value.

Brilliant buy, bought this to wear lounging round the house after work and what a great buy, it’s thick and so warm and snuggly. Look forward to finishing work nice warm bath and throwing it on over my nightie whilst watching telly or chilling for the evening. Well worth the price. Good weight and length on me and very warm only drawback is the pockets are a little too low but otherwise glad I purchased

Snug and cozy, don't even need the heating with this on!

I bought this for my wife who loves blankets and anything cozy to wrap round her at night whilst watching TV.This "Big Softy" is just perfect for her.I do joke she looks like the abominable snowman as it is big on her (she is 5' 8" and a size 10) so there would be plenty of room for anyone to wear it (I haven't had a shot myself though).It is incredibly soft both on the outside and inside with no gaps at all for the softness, including in the hood.Unbelievably the only issue she has come across is that she is occasionally too warm with it on which is hilarious coming from her.She does also wear it about the house when pottering about and is still commenting on how good it is.Would whole heartedly recommend this.

Well I did try to resist buying one of these, but I’m just not hardy enough without the central heating on to get through Winter without one. It’s just amazing! Went from cold to toasty warm in 5 minutes. Gorgeously soft and I especially like the ribbed cuffs so you can roll the sleeves up. Bought the grey one, I’m hoping husband and son will want one so we don’t have to put the heating on ... time will tell 😆Update a couple of months on: washes really well and doesn’t take long to dry, a few little pulls on the material but nothing major considering I have practically lived in it for two months. Got one for our son, he loves it too! Bought a thinner one for the husband, he wears his occasionally if it’s very, very cold but I steal it sometimes if I want something lighter on. 😆 Definitely had my moneys worth as have only had to have the heating on sparingly. Best thing I have ever bought!
