Rock Gardening: Reimagining a Classic Style

Love this book! I have always had an interest in rock gardening, but many of the older books lacked pictures and were un-inspiring. This book has a fresh look on old favorite plants and some newer and easier to grow options. A perfect, well-written book to inspire me on another phase of my 'plant-centric' life. Thanks Joe... soooo happy to have 'young blood' joining us aging plant lovers!

Exceeds expectations. Very nice book with lots of inspiring photos of small approachable garden examples including small backyard and container gardens not just complex institutional gardens. Good practical advice about soils, drainage and the basics of rock gardens and how to get started.

An excellent book with beautiful pictures and practical details about rock gardening. There are notes about easier ways to garden for seniors or others with disabilities. The writing is gardener friendly and never pretentious. I highly recommend this book!

Was disappointed as it was very basic. More for gardeners with no gardening experience.

Love this author's knowledge and expertise, plus he writes wittily, which is always fun!!! Great ideas to consider for my own garden.

Except the cover picture. Some extremely poor photographs. Save your pennies.
